All the Ezreal skins are ranked from worst to best to help you make your buying decision.

Ezreal has been the poster boy for League of Legends for quite some time now. It has both to do with how he has this appealing personality with stylish looks suited for mainstream appeal and also the fact that he is a very well-rounded champion design-wise.

Marksman champions are notoriously known for their squishiness and difficulty in staying alive. LoL is a game where literally everything can one tap your ADC, even the support champions. One of the primary reasons for that is the lack of mobility or a safe escape. Ezreal shines brilliantly among them due to his E, which is basically a flash built-in within his kit.

Which is why Ezreal is one of the most-played champions in the pro scene. Naturally, he is in the limelight, both in solo queues and official LoL events. Added that with his stylish appearance, it’s no wonder he has to have a lot of outfits to wear. Ezreal, along with Lux and Miss Fortune, is the champion with the most number of skins in the game.

And it can be hard to navigate through all of them to decide which one you want to buy, considering they are not that cheap.

In this article, I will try to make your selection process a bit easier by going through each of the skins one by one and giving a subjective yet insightful take as much as I can.

18. Frosted Ezreal

Frosted Ezreal
  • Release Date: July 18, 2010
  • Price: 520 RP
  • Chroma: No

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first:

  • New Model

This is a very low-effort skin, priced at 520 RP. It offers no new animation, VFX/SFX, etc, to stand out from the base skin. The splash art looks OK at best. The base model has been recolored with an icy blue texture to fit the Winter theme. At that price point, there wasn’t much room anyway.

17. Nottingham Ezreal

Nottingham Ezreal
  • Release Date: March 16, 2010
  • Price: 520 RP
  • Chroma: No

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first:

  • New Model

Another 520 RP skin that offers little to nothing other than a new Legend of Zelda-themed model. The splash here looks quite pristine, especially Ezreal’s face, which is very recognizable here. The elf ears also suit him in that costume. But the age of the skin shows in-game with no VFX/SFX to complement the Elderwood theme. Therefore, it is ranked just right above the frosted skin.

16. Ace of Spades Ezreal

Ace of Spades Ezreal
  • Release Date: May 20, 2015
  • Price: 750 RP
  • Chroma: No

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first:

  • New Model

Another low-tier skin with little to no value other than the splash art, which is based on high-stakes card themes, Ezreal being the Ace of the Spades. The model looks quite bland with minimal design. It features model changes and new textures, including a spade symbol on Ezreal’s back and a glowing blue glove with a golden Ace of Spades symbol on his left hand. All in all, there is nothing much to say about it. Get it if you like the model.

15. TPA Ezreal

TPA Ezreal
  • Release Date: May 23, 2013
  • Price: 750 RP
  • Chroma: No

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first:

  • New Model

It’s a commemorative skin to reminisce about the second Worlds champion, Taipei Assassins. Unlike the modern world skins, this one does not have new animation, recall, visuals, or sound effects. Only the splash art and model are TPA-themed. So, if you are an old-school TPA fan, you may want to keep this keepsake.

14. Striker Ezreal

Striker Ezreal
  • Release Date: June 24, 2010
  • Price: 520 RP
  • Chroma: No

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first:

  • New Model

Another budget skin. This was released for the World Cup 2010 to celebrate. This is one of the first skins I have received from free loot. Even though I like it for its simplistic athlete style, it doesn’t offer much in terms of VFX or SFX, nor does it have any new animation. So, just like the previous bottom-tier ones, this skin doesn’t have much going for it.

13. Debonair Ezreal

Debonair Ezreal
  • Release Date: August 05, 2014
  • Price: 750 RP
  • Chroma: Yes (8 Different Chromas Available)
Debonair Ezreal Chromas

All of these are individually purchasable with 165 RP.

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first:

  • New Model

Debonair Ezreal is a relatively popular skin for Ezreal. But again, due to being a 750 RP skin, it got nothing much to offer other than its stylish, sophisticated look in the splash art. But that doesn’t change the non-existent design sense of his in-game model. Lack of differentiation and features also put this skin at the bottom end of my list.

12. Explorer Ezreal

Explorer Ezreal
  • Release Date: October 13, 2010
  • Price: Price: 750 RP
  • Chroma: No

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first:

  • New Model

Just like the other 750 RP skins, Explorer Ezreal does not offer anything new other than a new model. However, I will keep it at the top of the bottom tier list due to how well-designed the splash art looks. The in-game model also doesn’t look half bad with with his outfit and accessories having a distinct visibility. Due to such fine details accompanied by nice coloring, this deserves the best of the worst spots in this list.

11. Faerie Court Ezreal

Faerie Court Ezreal
  • Release Date: March 23, 2023
  • Price: 1350 RP
  • Chroma: Yes (9 different Chromas available)
Faerie Court Ezreal Chromas

Among these, the Winsome Chroma can be Hextech crafted during limited-time exclusive events. The ruby one is acquired through purchasing the bundle.

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.

  • New Model
  • New Animation
  • New VFX
  • New Sound Effects
  • New Recall Animation

Ezreal is a fairy, which is very fitting since he has been one of the girls for a while now. The visuals and sound effects of this skin are very pretty. The pink hair, in particular, looks very beautiful with Ezreal. Also, the mixture of various shades of pink, blue, and orange with that butterfly wing is pleasant to look at. However, the in-game animation and particle effects don’t have much unique to offer like some of his other, better skins, such as the arcade one. This is why I put it under the fairly average category.

10. PsyOps Ezreal

PsyOps Ezreal
  • Release Date: September 03, 2020
  • Price: 1350 RP
  • Chroma: No

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.

  • New Model
  • New Animation
  • New VFX
  • New Sound Effects
  • New Recall Animation

Finally, we are starting to get to relatively better skin territory. While PsyOps Ezreal is not the best example of fairly good skin, it has quite a few things to show. Like other epic skins, it has a new animation, VFX, sound effects, and recall animation. The coloring on the VFX particles, especially the purple shade emanating from his body, looks very clean. His gauntlet gives sci-fi tech vibes, and the fit looks electric. All in all, this is a skin that doesn’t do anything extraordinary, yet I would suggest purchasing it if you like how the model looks and moves in the game.

9. Heartsteel Ezreal

Heartsteel Ezreal
  • Release Date: November 8, 2023
  • Price: 1350 RP
  • Chroma: Yes (9 different Chromas available)
Heartsteel Ezreal Chromas

Among these, the Ruby Chroma is bundle-exclusive, whereas the Rockstar is only craftable during special limited-time events. The rest of them are individually purchasable for 165 RP each.

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.

  • New Model
  • New Animation
  • New VFX
  • New Sound Effects
  • New Recall Animation

This is Ezreal’s latest skin from the HEARTSTEEL band, the newest boyband Riot introduced to the game’s universe. I think it’s a fairly decent skin because of its visual effects in-game, showing the Heartsteel band’s theme colors. The ultimate, in particular, looks really cool with a DJ mixer drawn on it. The recall animation looks amazing as well, with Ezreal on the stage, having all the lights on him, which is very fitting with his attention-seeking personality. However, we have seen better musical band skins with K/DA and True Damage. I expected more from a 2023 skin. That’s why it’s at the average zone of my ranking.

8. Pajama Guardian Ezreal

Pajama Guardian Ezreal
  • Release Date: November 21, 2018
  • Price: 1350 RP
  • Chroma: No

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.

  • New Model
  • New Animation
  • New VFX
  • New Sound Effects
  • New Quotes
  • New Recall Animation

The Pajama Guardian skin line is very popular, mostly for the girl champs. But Ezreal gets a pass into the Girls’ night thanks to his quirky and fun nature. To be honest, that pajama looks quite comfy to sleep with. The model looks great, with new VFX, SFX, and additional quotes to keep you entertained. The comfortable Pajama may or may not get you through tough times in-game.

7. Porcelain Protector Ezreal

Porcelain Protector Ezreal
  • Release Date: January 26, 2022
  • Price: 1820 RP
  • Chroma: Yes (6 Different Chromas Available)
Porcelain Protector Ezreal Chromas

Among these 6 chromas, Ruby is available only with the bundle. The rest of them are purchaseable individually at 195 RP each.

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.

  • New Model
  • New Animation
  • New VFX
  • New SFX
  • New Voice-over
  • New Recall Animation

Now, we have finally reached the actually good skins. Porcelain Protector Ezreal is based on Porcelain, a symbol of aristocracy when it comes to ceramics. The skin does live up to its name, as you can see just how sophisticated and cultural the splash art looks. The in-game model has a lot of things to offer.

New blue-white porcelain particles in Ezreal’s ability animation with sound effects resembling vibrating porcelain ceramics, the skin is a splendor indeed. Also, Ezreal can summon porcelain pot and the dragon in his emotes. The dragon spirit is also visible during his Ultimate cast, making it look majestic.

This is a great skin to buy if you are looking for legendary skin and like the colors on it.

6. Prestige PsyOps Ezreal

Prestige PsyOps Ezreal
  • Release Date: September 03, 2020
  • Price: Special (Should be 125 ME on First Unvault)
  • Chroma: No

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.

  • New Model
  • New Animation
  • New VFX (Visual Effects)
  • New Sound Effects
  • New Recall Animation

Prestige PsyOps Ezreal takes everything well with the regular PsyOps skin and enhances it further. New golden particles and hues on Ezreal’s Q, W, and E look very energetic and divine. The sound effects are quite detailed as you can hear nice little details of the metallic material from his gauntlet when he fires Q or R. More importantly, movement with this skin just feels really good. Personally speaking, this is one of the better-looking prestige skins out there.

5. Star Guardian Ezreal

Star Guardian Ezreal
  • Release Date: September 06, 2017
  • Price: 1350 RP
  • Chroma: No

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.

  • New Model
  • New Animation
  • New VFX (Visual Effects)
  • New Sound Effects
  • New Recall Animation
  • Additional Quotes
  • New voice filter

This is a must for fans of the magical anime girl trope, which is hugely popular in Japanese culture. With anime being a pop-cultural phenomenon, this skin is almost a sure hit with the fans. Besides its theme, the skin stands out from a technical perspective as well. The visual effects are magical and stunning, with bright particles emanating all around. The animation is also fluid, and movement offers a sense of satisfaction, not to mention the Haruhi Suzumiya-inspired dance it has. The sound effects also amplify the anime experience. Get this skin if your budget is 1350 RP.

4. SSG Ezreal

SSG Ezreal
  • Release Date: July 20, 2018
  • Price: 1350 RP
  • Chroma: No

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.

  • New Model
  • New Animation
  • New VFX
  • New Sound Effects
  • New Recall Animation

SSG Ezreal is designed as a tribute to the Samsung Galaxy team’s victory in the 2017 World Championship. The skin features a sleek and modern look, with a color scheme that represents the team’s branding. While it does have a contemporary and stylish appearance, the focus is more on commemorating the esports achievement.

The skin includes several unique visual and sound effects, animations, and a new recall animation. All of the new features align with a distinct style resembling the uniqueness of Samsung Galaxy and the historic identity forged by its brilliant victory against SKT T1 in the 2017 World Championship. This is one of the best skins for Ezreal to get, even if you are not a fan of SSG, because of its technical brilliance.

3. Arcade Ezreal

Arcade Ezreal
  • Release Date: August 24, 2016
  • Price: 1350 RP
  • Chroma: No

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.

  • New Model
  • New Animation
  • New VFX (Visual Effects)
  • New Sound Effects
  • New Recall Animation
  • Additional Quotes

Arcade Ezreal is a love letter for the old-school fans of arcade games. The good old Tetris, Mario, and Sonic, among others, were the foundation for modern gaming. Arcade is still a very popular gaming aesthetic at present.

This skin perfectly encapsulates that through its use of pixelated game elements in the animation. For example, one of Arcade Ezreal’s emotes shows him fighting against a pixel dragon with a damage score counter showing ‘9999’ in old-school graphics. For 1350 RP, this skin is a steal.

2. Pulsefire Ezreal

Pulsefire Ezreal
  • Release Date: June 29, 2012
  • Price: 3250 RP
  • Chroma: No

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.

  • New Model
  • New Animation
  • New VFX (Visual Effects)
  • New Sound Effects
  • New Recall Animation
  • New Voice-over
  • Transformation
  • Extras

Released almost 10 years ago, Pulsefire Ezreal is the first Ultimate skin in League of Legends. It costs a lot, but the skin is still worth it after so many years. The skin has cutting-edge techno vibes all around, with 3 transformations built in. The cybernetic gear looks very clean and crisp with the in-game model.

All the abilities’ visuals are overhauled to match the blue plasma particles. The sound of pulse firing is very satisfying to hear as you land your abilities. All in all, this skin, being the first of the ultimate tier, lives up to its reputation even in 2023. If you want to get an Ezreal skin that has great VFX, fluid movement, and sounds nice with customizability, this is the one to buy.

1. Battle Academia Ezreal

Battle Academia Ezreal
  • Release Date: May 15, 2019
  • Price: 1820 RP
  • Chroma: 1
Battle Academia Ezreal Chroma

Battle Academia Ezreal has only 1 chroma. However, this mythic chroma is only available for Hextech crafting during certain limited-time events.

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.

  • New Model
  • New Animation
  • New VFX (Visual Effects)
  • New Sound Effects
  • New Recall Animation
  • New Voice-over
  • Transformation

Despite not being an ultimate skin, this skin does more than that. Battle Academia Ezreal is probably objectively the best skin in the game for various reasons. Firstly, the theme of the ‘Schoolgoer Anime teen with superpowers’ trope is presented very creatively with very stylish outfits and gear. All his abilities have particle effects brimming with youth energy. The use of red, blue, and dark colors goes well in showcasing the ability’s raw power.

The attention to detail in this skin is quite impressive. For instance, when Ezreal’s ult is at rank 1, he says, “I hope this works,” in contrast with rank 3 when he screams the ability, signifying his newly gained confidence, just like how a shounen anime protagonist undergoes a character development arc.

The animation, sound effects, new voice lines – everything fits perfectly with the theme as well as in a vacuum. For a skin worth 1820 RP, this is probably the most value-giving cosmetic.

All the Aatrox skins released till now are ranked from worst to best.

Aatrox is one of my favorite champions in League of Legends. The Darkin God-Warrior is one of the strongest characters in the Runeterra. Moreover, he has some of the most iconic voice lines. Aatrox’s gameplay also complements his theme as a World Ender. Everyone knows how oppressive it is to deal with his 0 to 100 healing with 1 auto once he is slightly fed.

Aatrox is also one of the popular champions in LoL E-sports history. You will hardly see a Worlds or MSI tournament without him being picked or banned. In 2022, DRX Kingen crushed T1’s toplaner with his iconic Aatrox performance.

With popularity comes marketing scope. And what better way to do that than the good ol’ skin sales? Aatrox currently has 10 skins as I write. Surprisingly, Aatrox still doesn’t have legendary skin. But some of his epic skins look better than the legendary skins of other champions. Just goes to show how much care Riot puts into his skin designs.

Picking the right skin to suit your taste can be a difficult process. That’s why in this article, I will try to break down each of the released skins, to help you even so slightly.

10. Sea Hunter Aatrox

Sea Hunter Aatrox
  • Release Date: July 22, 2015
  • Price: 750 RP
  • Chroma: None

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.

  • New Model

Sea Hunter Aatrox feels very out of place as I see it. Aatrox is more of a world-destroying threat than a pirate crew member. The design also looks very odd with his face particularly being completely unrecognizable. The sword design looks decent but the color scheme is very off-putting. The in-game model doesn’t even look as good as the base skin. Although I can see some people liking the unorthodox design, I think most people will share my opinion when I say it’s probably the worst Aatrox skin.

9. Odyssey Aatrox

Odyssey Aatrox
  • Release Date: October 15, 2020
  • Price: 1350 RP
  • Chromas: 8 Chromas available
Odyssey Aatrox Chromas

Among these 8, Ruby is only available through the Chroma bundle. The Merc chroma is limited-time Hextech craftable during certain events that may occur any time during the year. The other 6 Chromas can be purchased with 2000 BE (Emporium) or 175 RP.

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.

  • New Model
  • New Animation
  • New VFX
  • New Sound Effects
  • New Recall Animation
  • Voice Filter

Yes, you are right; Aatrox looks like Thanos in this one. Even his gloves resemble Thanos’ gloves, and the whole galactic theme fits well. Also, his wings during ultimate have similarities to his Mecha skin. However, the face does not have a devilish feel to it. And the outfit looks way out of fashion for a 2020 skin. The sword looks quite majestic with the Odyssey mini portal glowing but that’s about it. The armor design looks cheaply copy-pasted from a galactic RPG game’s villain’s costume. This skin had potential but I think not enough care was put into it. That’s why it’s my 2nd least favorite skin after Sea Hunter.

8. Prestige Blood Moon Aatrox

Blood Moon Aatrox
  • Release Date: January 10, 2019
  • Price: 150 Mythic Essence
  • Chromas: None

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.

  • New Model
  • New Animation
  • New VFX
  • New Sound Effects
  • New Recall Animation

Prestige skins released in 2019 were just recoloring the base one with a golden hue. Prestige Blood Moon is no exception to that. The golden color makes the skin look worse, as the Blood Moon theme doesn’t go with it. However, they made some modifications to his sword in the 2022 version, but the underlying problem persists. It doesn’t feel worth spending 150 ME for a skin that looks worse than the base model.

7. Victorious Aatrox

Victorious Aatrox
  • Release Date: November 21, 2019
  • Price: Not Available anymore, Rank Reward for Season 9
  • Chromas: 1
Victorious Aatrox (Amber)

Victorious Aatrox has only 1 chroma, Amber. This was exclusively distributed by Riot for people who reached Gold or higher in two or more ranked queues.

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.

  • New Model
  • New Animation
  • New VFX
  • New Sound Effects
  • New Recall Animation

Victorious Aatrox suffers from a lack of originality. The angelic wings and celestial design have already been done with Justicar Aatrox. However, the in-game model looks fantastic. The VFX on his abilities showcases the design Riot uses for rank crest. The golden petal particles released from each Q cast look very pleasing and give a sense of sweet victory.

The sounds are nice as well. The dissected angel-winged sword design may be a hit or miss though. Aatrox turning into a textureless white also-like figure during his recall is unique. Overall, it’s a great gift to the grinders.

6. Prestige DRX Aatrox

Prestige DRX Aatrox
  • Release Date: June 1, 2023
  • Price: 1350 RP
  • Chromas: 0

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.

  • New Model
  • New Animation
  • New VFX
  • New Sound Effects
  • New Recall Animation

Prestige DRX Aatrox has a really good design, but it feels really out of place with DRX’s theme. The menacing and demonic vibe that mingled very well with the base DRX Aatrox’s skin is non-existent in the prestige counterpart. In a vacuum, this skin could work well. But when you consider it a DRX skin, it doesn’t fit well. In terms of VFX, SFX, and animation, there’s the usual flashy lighting and everything but nothing too unique. Moreover, it doesn’t even have a voice filter. All in all, it’s a fairly average skin.

5. Lunar Eclipse Aatrox

Lunar Eclipse Aatrox
  • Release Date: April 28, 2022
  • Price: 1350 RP
  • Chromas: 8
Lunar Eclipse Chromas

Among the 8 chromas, Ruby is only acquired with the bundle purchase. The rest of them are 165 RP each. You can also get them from the Emporium shop with 2000 Blue Essence.

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.

  • New Model
  • New Animation
  • New VFX
  • New Sound Effects
  • New Recall Animation
  • Voice Filter

Right after Blood Moon, Lunar Eclipse Aatrox has the best splash art in my opinion. I personally like the dark blue and purple lighting on the hollow circle in his armor and sword. The armor is designed with a lot of fine details as you can see very subtle lines zoomed in.

These details are not lost in the in-game model either. The voice filter removed the demonic sound but surprisingly this worked in favor. However, the vibration in his recall and the sound during the ultimate cast is really out of the world. You can literally feel the World Ender’s vibe with the menacing VFX. It’s not the best of his skins, but it’s definitely above average.

4. Mecha Aatrox

Mecha Aatrox
  • Release Date: July 23, 2014
  • Price: 1350 RP
  • Chroma: 3
Mecha Aatrox Chromas

Each of the 3 chromas is available to buy for 195 RP or 2000 Blue Essence (Emporium)

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.

  • New Model
  • Net VFX
  • New SFX
  • New Animation
  • New Recall
  • Voice Filter

This is another one of the best Aatrox skins. The animations and particles while swinging his sword look cool with the colors changing between Q. I like the in-game model and the splash art for the mecha anime vibes. Evangelion and Gundam fans can relate. It’s one of my favorite skins because of the fresh coloring and visual effects.

Aatrox transforming into a mecha jet during his recall also looks cool. However, some fans claim that the skin looks a bit more like a toy than an Autobot. I don’t see it, but you have to make the judgment on your own before deciding to buy.

3. DRX Aatrox

DRX Aatrox
  • Release Date: June 1, 2023
  • Price: 1350 RP
  • Chromas: 1
DRX Aatrox (Elite)

This Elite chroma is only available with the DRX Aatrox bundle. So you will need to spend for the prestige edition skin to get this.

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.

  • New Model
  • New Animation
  • New VFX
  • New Sound Effects
  • New Recall Animation

The drip is real with this one. DRX Aatrox couldn’t get any better than this. Miraculously, DRX’s theme color fits so well with Aatrox. Every time Aatrox uses an ability, it feels so satisfying with the beautiful VFX. You can feel DRX’s iconic victory against T1 every time you land the 3rd Q. The wings, in particular, with the DRX cross look very unique.

DRX Aatrox’s clothing is designed to exude a sense of sophistication that comes with being Worlds Champion. This skin is a visual splendor and worth each penny of that 1350 RP. Kingen’s performance has been perfectly honored with this.

2. Justicar Aatrox

Justicar Aatrox
  • Release Date: June 12, 2013
  • Price: 975 RP
  • Chroma: 0

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.

  • New Model
  • Net VFX
  • New SFX
  • New Animation
  • New Recall
  • Voice Filter

This is one of the Aatrox skins for a multitude of reasons. Firstly, the splash art looks gorgeous with the angel-like wings giving off a celestial undertone. The blue and golden shades also complement the thematic aesthetics. What’s impressive is how the in-game model does not look far off from the splash art, something very rarely seen among the skins.

The visual effects are quite simple but very detailed and clearly show Aatrox’s movement. New recall animation and voice filters also add to the skin’s value. Speaking of value, this is one of the rare skins that cost only 975 but easily stands up to many of the modern legendary skins. I recommend you buy it if you play Aatrox even occasionally.

1. Blood Moon Aatrox

Blood Moon Aatrox
  • Release Date: January 10, 2019
  • Price: 1350 RP
  • Chromas: None

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.

  • New Model
  • New Animation
  • New VFX
  • New Sound Effects
  • New Recall Animation

Blood Moon Aatrox is arguably the best skin of Aatrox, heavily contested by Justicar Aatrox. The splash art is quite a masterpiece. The demonic horn with the pale yet brooding face gives off an eerie aesthetics that not many blood moon skin does. His armor and shoulder guard have demonic patterns engraved. The sword in particular looks amazing with the little blood moon carved on the blade.

The in-game model does not look as great, but the great VFX and SFX more than makeup for it. Blood Moon Aatrox has the best ultimate casting sound effect out of all the skins in his closet. To be honest, this could easily qualify as a legendary skin. For 1350, it gives immense value

If you are confused about picking the right skin to land the most stylish Blitzcrank hook, this is the place for you.

League of Legends support champions usually fall under 3 categories – Hook/Catch, Utility, and Poke. Blitzcrank is the embodiment of the first category since his Q is literally synonymous with hook. A good Blitzcrank can easily take over the game, as a good catch usually results in a certain death in crucial team fights.

Despite being one of the most oppressive champions in the bot lane, Blitzcrank’s gameplay is fairly simple. Yet, he is one of the most loved champions for his adorable design and concept. Naturally, his popularity paved the way for the creation of many interesting skins. Each skin has something new to offer and is worth buying depending on what you like.

Still, it’s worth taking a somewhat comparative approach to determine which skins stand out the most. In this article, I will be trying to use a standardized approach along with my subjective views to rank all the Blitzcrank skins.

15. Rusty Blitzcrank

Rusty Blitzcrank
  • Release Date: November 20, 2009
  • Price: 520 RP (Not Available)
  • Chroma: No

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.

  • New Model

This is one of the very first League of Legends skins, and the age in it couldn’t be shown more clearly. Rusty Blitzcrank is just as the name suggests – rusty. Being a skin from 2009, it has no additional VFX/SFX or fancy animation. Just a cheap-looking version of the base skin.

14. Goalkeeper Blitzcrank

Goalkeeper Blitzcrank
  • Release Date: June 24, 2010
  • Price: 520 RP (Legacy)
  • Chroma: No

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.

  • New Model

Another cheap design for 520 RP skin. Just like the previous one, this skin doesn’t offer anything beyond a new T-shirt on Blitzcrank. The model here kind of looks even worse than the default one. The only reason it’s one rank above is due to its ties with Riot Games logo, which, now in 2023, is a nice throwback to their past.

13. Riot Blitzcrank

Riot Blitzcrank
  • Release Date: October 21, 2013
  • Price: 975 RP (Legacy)
  • Chroma: No

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.

  • New Model
  • New VFX
  • New SFX
  • New Animation
  • New Recall

For a 975 RP skin, it provides us with new particles, sound and animation. The splash art also looks pretty electric. The emergency light on his head is a pretty nice addition to the skin. The movement in-game with this skin’s model feels very smooth as well. This is a clear step up in terms of raw skills involved in the skin’s design.

12. Boom Boom Blitzcrank

Boom Boom Blitzcrank
  • Release Date: August 29, 2010
  • Price: 520 RP
  • Chroma: No

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.

  • New Model

This is a rare example of a 520 RP-priced skin that doesn’t look half bad. Unlike looking like a cheap recoloring of the base skin, Boom Boom Blitzcrank gets a completely new appearance with the boxing gloves and belt. His metal body also looks very unique. Yet, the skin falls short in the technical department, with no new visual or sound enhancement.

11. Definitely Not Blitzcrank

Definitely Not Blitzcrank
  • Release Date: October 19, 2011
  • Price: 975 RP (Legacy)
  • Chroma: No

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.

  • New Model

This skin does not have any new VFX, SFX, or animation. The only thing going well for this is the concept behind it. ‘Definitely not’ is a skin line that’s supposed to make the champions look radically different from their base looks except comically revealing who they are anyway. Definitely Not Blitzcrank perfectly captures that essence. Despite his arduous attempt to hide himself using an anonymous mask and mustache, we can clearly see through our beloved robot. And for that alone, this skin deserves to be in a relatively higher position considering its price point.

10. Piltover Customs Blitzcrank

Piltover Customs Blitzcrank
  • Release Date: March 07, 2011
  • Price: 1350 RP
  • Chroma: No

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.

  • New Model
  • New VFX
  • New SFX
  • New Animation

This was a hard-to-rank skin for 2 contrasting reasons. On the one hand, you have this very fun concept of a ‘mini-car’ going around with it that fits perfectly with Blitzcrank’s automation theme. Moreover, him being an enforcer of Piltover is a wholesome story to embody in a skin. But on the other hand, this skin is categorized as ‘Epic’ tier. Unfortunately, the bar for Epic skins has reached much higher due to the technical excellence Riot has reached recently. Piltover Customs Blitzcrank, hence, despite having really fun and comical music and VFX, falls short due to its age.

9. Beezcrank

  • Release Date: November 22, 2023
  • Price: 1350 RP
  • Chroma: 8 different chromas available

Each of the chromas, other than Ruby, which is obtainable only with the bundle, can be individually purchased for 290 RP each.

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.

  • New Model
  • New VFX
  • New SFX
  • New Animation
  • New Recall

Bee-themed skins are usually very well-received. However, Beezcrank somehow doesn’t feel right, and it’s hard to identify where it went wrong. For all intents and purposes, the skin perfectly encapsulates bee and honey elements. You even honey-comb bee-hand and bee wings. However, Blitzcrank’s core design doesn’t blend well into this concept, at least for me. Still, when it comes to fun animation, particle, and sound effects, this skin does look good in-game.

8. Victorious Blitzcrank

Victorious Blitzcrank
  • Release Date: November 16, 2021
  • Price: N/A (Rank Reward)
  • Chroma: Yes (Depending on Rank)

These chromas are not purchasable. They were given by Riot Games to players based on their earned ranks in either Flex or Solo/Duo, each mode having different chromas for each rank Gold and above.

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.

  • New Model
  • New VFX
  • New SFX
  • New Animation
  • New Recall

Victorious skins are a hit or miss. And I don’t say that because it depends on you hitting a certain rank to get it. Victorious skins, in their concept, are supposed to reward the players for their year-long hard grind. Yet, some of the victorious skins, such as Aatrox’s one, look very cheaply made. For Blitzcrank, however, Riot did not disappoint. Just from the splash art, you can notice just how pristine the design is. The colors, background details, model design, animation – everything is decent. Although it is worth mentioning, it still doesn’t have quite the distinctive features to make it stand out.

7. Zenith Games Blitzcrank

  • Release Date: September 8, 2022.
  • Price: 1350 RP
  • Chroma: 8 different chromas available

Each of the chromas, other than Ruby, which is obtainable only with the bundle, can be individually purchased for 290 RP each.

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.

  • New Model
  • New VFX
  • New SFX
  • New Animation
  • New Recall

Zenith Games Blitzcrank is reimagined as Blitz being a referee in a futuristic sport. It is one of his underrated skins, in my opinion. The skin has cool visual effects and animation. Yet, it is not very popular because of the lack of a distinctive concept. Even Rusty Blitzcrank has a unique identity due to symbolizing something new. But a sports-themed bot is a concept that exists already in the form of Goalkeeper Blitzcrank. That’s why this skin is in a weird spot.

6. iBlitzcrank

iBlitzcrank
  • Release Date: March 01, 2013
  • Price: 1350 RP
  • Chroma: No

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.

  • New Model
  • New VFX
  • New SFX

Now, this is one of my favorite Blitzcrank skins. The one big thing about this skin is it reminds me instantly of EVE from WALL-E. Although I am not sure if it truly was inspired from there, still the Program or Android theme skins, in general, are really cool. Among them, Blitzcrank takes the cake for its astoundingly clean look.

You can see how, despite being a decade-old skin, it looks so modern. It has new VFX and SFX to give it a distinct feel. Even though it doesn’t have new animations or recall, just the sheer model design of it, in my opinion, was ahead of its time. So much so, that it is ahead in the ranking as well relative to some more recent skins.

5. Lancer Rogue Blitzcrank

Lancer Rogue Blitzcrank
  • Release Date: November 16, 2017
  • Price: 1350 RP
  • Chroma: No

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.

  • New Model
  • New VFX
  • New SFX
  • New Animation
  • New Recall
  • New Quotes
  • Voice Filter

Lancer Rogue is sort of like an ‘evil’ version of the Lancer Paragon Blitzcrank. Instead of having a guardian knight role, Rogue Blitzcrank causes mayhem with his thirst for destruction. When it comes to technical aspects, both the Lancer skins are quite identical as they have VFX/SFX, animation, and Voice filters of the same quality. In the end, it’s up to your personal preference as to which one you find more appealing.

4. Lancer Paragon Blitzcrank

Lancer Paragon Blitzcrank
  • Release Date: November 16, 2017
  • Price: 1350 RP
  • Chroma: No

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.

  • New Model
  • New VFX
  • New SFX
  • New Animation
  • New Recall
  • New Quotes
  • Voice Filter

Both Lancer Rogue and Paragon Blitzcrank used to be two of his best skins before the very modern skins came. Both skins have a pristine look with neat coloring and VFX/SFX. I personally really like the drilling animation on recall. Most people prefer the Rogue skin for its dark color, but I think the Paragon one has a more distinct look. The addition of new quotes and voice filters makes the epic skins more valuable. Although these skins were criticized a lot for Riot’s artistic decision to keep the ‘walking’ animation instead of floating, they are still a great buy for their technical splendor.

3. Battle Boss Blitzcrank

Battle Boss Blitzcrank
  • Release Date: August 19, 2015
  • Price: 1350 RP
  • Chroma: Yes (8 Different Chromas Available)

Each chroma can be purchased for 290 RP, or you can get them from Emporium for 2000 Blue Essence each.

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.

  • New Model
  • New VFX
  • New SFX
  • New Animation
  • New Recall

Battle Boss Blitzcrank is a fan-favorite skin, much like the entire Arcade lineup. The gamey vibe the skin exudes is very pulling to the nostalgic mind. This Blitzcrank skin is reimagined as one of the arcade bosses trying to stop our heroes. The in-game model looks amazing with almost his entire body made up of gaming console parts. All the visual and sound effects are very coherent with the theme, too, making this one of his best skins in the game.

2. Witch’s Brew Blitzcrank

Witch's Brew Blitzcrank
  • Release Date: October 24, 2019
  • Price: 1350 RP (Legacy)
  • Chroma: Yes (6 different chromas available)

Being a legacy skin, the chromas are not purchasable in the store normally. Usually, you have to wait for a certain event or bundle purchases to get them.

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.

  • New Model
  • New VFX
  • New SFX
  • New Animation
  • New Recall

Being a Halloween-themed skin, Witch’s Brew Blitzcrank is an incredible mixture of two distinctly contrasting themes: Automation and Dark Magic. The creativity in the concept is very clearly reflected in how good the skin looks. It strikes the right balance between spooky and fun, the latter coming from Blitzcrank’s adorable personality. The fact that he is a witch’s cauldron that somehow comes to life and spills the potion inside whenever he walks is fantastic. Thematic consistency with amazing visual and sound effects and animation makes it one of the freshest Blitzcrank skins.

1. Space Groove Blitz & Crank

Space Groove Blitz & Crank
  • Release Date: April 01, 2021
  • Price: 1820 RP
  • Chroma: Yes (6 Different Chromas Available)

Among the 6 chromas, Ruby can only be acquired with the bundle. The disco chroma is limited to hextech-crafting during certain events. All the rest of the 4 chromas can be individually purchased for 290 RP each or through the Emporium shop using 2000 Blue Essence.

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.

  • New Model
  • New VFX
  • New SFX
  • New Animation
  • New Recall
  • New Voice

Space Groove Blitz & Crank is not only the best Blitzcrank skin but also one of the best skins in the game. The colorful designs, the fun VFX/SFX, and the groovy animations all make you dance with childlike joy. It is evident from the design that the creator of the skin poured their entire heart into its design. Using cute kittens to drive a space mech is a very creative idea in and of itself. The vibrant and fun colors used make it a visual treat to look at. Space Groove Blitzcrank excels on all technical grounds thanks to its amazing consistency in displaying pure, unadulterated joy, making it Blitzcrank’s finest skin to date.

If you are looking to perform your 200 years of gameplay in style with Aphelios, this is the place to help you pick the best fit for him.

Aphelios, ever since its release in 2019, has become one of the most talked about champions in League of Legends. His kit, while being extremely complex by design, offers a very high skill ceiling. So, if the right person plays it, they can singlehandedly change the tide of the game.

Because of this huge potential in his kit, Aphelios has seen a lot of pro-play presence since 2020. Even after countless nerfs and adjustments, his presence has not dwindled. Currently, he may look weak due to the sub 50% win rate in the solo queue. But if you are ever against a one-trick or see the pros play him, only then do you get to see why he is infamously known as ‘200 years’.

Now that’s about his champion gameplay. What about his skins? So far, he has received 1 skin on average every year. Being a modern champion, all of them look quite neat and well-designed. Still, in this article, I will try to rank them based on my impression to help you make the right choice before making the big call.

5. HEARTSTEEL Aphelios

HEARTSTEEL Aphelios
Image: Riot Games
  • Release Date: November 8, 2023
  • Price: 1350 RP
  • Chroma: Yes (9 Different Chromas Available)

Among the 9 chromas, Ruby is available only with chroma bundle purchase. And Rockstar chroma is limited to certain events for Hextech crafting.

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.

  • New Model
  • New Animation
  • New VFX (Visual Effects)
  • New SFX (Sound Effects)
  • New Recall Animation

Despite the Heartsteel skin line being decent, as an Aphelios skin, it doesn’t fare well considering the competition. It’s an okay skin with nice VFX, SFX, and recall animation – comprising of groovy musical rhythm and K-Pop Boyband vibes. But other than that, the in-game model has little to offer to stand out from the rest.

4. EDG Aphelios

EDG Aphelios
  • Release Date: May 12, 2022
  • Price: 1350 RP
  • Chroma: Yes (Only 1 Chroma Available)

Being a legacy skin, its chroma, Elite, is not available anymore. It was distributed by Riot for a limited during limited-time events.

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.

  • New Model
  • New Animation
  • New VFX (Visual Effects)
  • New SFX (Sound Effects)
  • New Recall Animation

EDG Aphelios was released in celebration of EDG’s historic first Worlds win in 2019. The skin is designed with a very sophisticated sense of aesthetics. This is reflected in the artistic patterns on Aphelios’ clothing. The color scheme is very light-toned, but the contrast is there to make it visually pleasing to the eye. However, the bland in-game model may throw off a lot of people. The VFX and recall animation are lackluster, too. So, it kind of fails to live up to its promise, which the splash art succeeded but failed where it mattered the most.

3. Nightbringer Aphelios

Nightbringer Aphelios
  • Release Date: December 11, 2019
  • Price: 1350 RP
  • Chroma: Yes (7 Different Chromas Available)

The ruby chroma can be obtained only with the chroma bundle. The Pariah one can only be Hextech crafted during limited-time events.

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.

  • New Model
  • New Animation
  • New VFX (Visual Effects)
  • New SFX (Sound Effects)
  • New Recall Animation
  • New Quotes

Nightbringer Aphelios came out with his release in 2019. Being a new champion, Aphelios comes with clean animations that feel great to play with. The Nightbringer theme goes really well with Aphelios’ gloomy, dark, and depressing vibes. The skin is well-known for its smooth animation and clean sound effects, making kiting with it a very soothing experience.

2. Lunar Beast Aphelios

Lunar Beast Aphelios
  • Release Date: February 04, 2021
  • Price: 1350 RP (Legacy)
  • Chroma: Yes (7 Different Chromas Available)

Being Legacy skin, the chromas aren’t purchasable in the store like regular ones. You need to wait for special events for them to be available again.

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.

  • New Model
  • New Animation
  • New VFX (Visual Effects)
  • New SFX (Sound Effects)
  • New Recall Animation

Lunar Beast Aphelios could have easily been the best skin of his if it were not for the number 1 on this list. I love the vibrant, bright, youthful color of the skin, in sharp contrast with Aphelios’ personality. The in-game model has cute recall animation, and his hair and clothes look beautiful. However, there are some issues with his auto-attacks SFX being a bit quiet. Then again, Aphelios himself is.

1. Spirit Blossom Aphelios

Spirit Blossom Aphelios
Image: Riot Games
  • Release Date: October 6, 2022
  • Price: 1350 RP
  • Chroma: Yes (9 Different Chromas Available)

The Ruby chroma is only available with the chroma bundle purchase. Night Blossom is limited to limited-time events that can occur once in a while. So look out for them.

Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.

  • New Model
  • New Animation
  • New VFX (Visual Effects)
  • New SFX (Sound Effects)
  • New Recall Animation

Finally, we are the no.1 spot on the list, Spirit Blossom Aphelios. For an epic skin, it does almost everything perfectly. The auto-attack sounds so clean on almost all of his weapons. The lotus on Gravitum Q looks very pretty while using it. Alune’s spirit during ultimate goes really well with the theme of Spirit Blossom. Severum Gun’s auto-attacks, in particular, are very distinctive. All in all, there is nothing to complain about in this skin, making it the best skin of Aphelios till now.

Riot Phroxzon strongly claims that the perceived ‘Loser’s Queue’ does not exist in League of Legends.

League of Legends ranked experience is one of the most controversial topics of the game’s decade-long history. Most of the debate arises from the matchmaking process in ranked queues, especially the solo queue. There is a great divide between the player base as to whether or not a ‘loser’s queue’ exists.

Loser’s queue is a term heavily used in LoL to refer to a scenario where a player claims that the system is intentionally putting them in a bad team to make the match unwinnable for them. Contrary to popular belief, this claim is not without base.

Because the proponents show statistics where, in many matches, they simply got placed with teammates where multiple of them had abnormally low win rates. Not to mention, the opponent team, in such a scenario, usually had a regular win rate.

Yet, Riot counters it by arguing that in the long run, each player faces some occurrences, and that finally it all balances out. So, if you consistently play well above your elo, you will be sure to rank up. Players who are at the top ranks are used as examples to solidify this argument.

However, there are more nuances to it. For example, you can naturally ask why one has to play so many games to get their desired rank when Riot could just fix their matchmaking to make it more balanced. Not to mention, Riot could fine-tune LP losses in circumstances where the individual played well, but the team performed horribly. There are so many cases to consider and so many answers to analyze for each.

In this article, I will be presenting to you an analysis of Riot Phroxzon’s argument so you can get more insights concerning ranked experience in League of Legends

Read More: League of Legends Patch 14.4 Notes – All The Changes

Loser’s Queue: Myth or Real?

Why would Riot want you to lose anyway?

Riot Phroxzon has confidently declared that the loser’s queue does not exist at all. Because from a business perspective, it makes no sense for Riot to make you lose. I disagree on this point because if a player mostly won the ranked matches, they would reach their desired ranks too quickly, hence losing all motivation to keep up the ground. So, strictly controlling the routine losses can stimulate rank grind.

Losing despite high KDA

His next point states that the people complaining about loser’s queue, had they analyzed their ‘high KDA’ lost matches by experts, would realize 100s of errors. This is true. But I have another perspective. What about the high-ranked players who managed to climb successfully? Would they not have 100s of errors as well? Can we say for sure that the errors they make are less severe than those made by the hardstuck players?

Also, not to mention, there are challenger streamers out there, who often face different experiences in their different accounts, literally on the same day. In fact, I have experienced it myself as well. Although, Riot has promised to resolve that discrepancy. But it cannot be denied that there exists enough evidence of some accounts receiving those marginal favors of matchmaking gods, just enough to push them to the next rank.

A high KDA ratio, more often than not, is associated with good gameplay, given that you are doing the basic macro plays right. Usually, the people who make grave errors get punished, resulting in more deaths. Riot Phroxzon seems to have taken the KDA concept in a vacuum just to support his initial argument.

Yes, there are cases where high KDA is artificially achieved by not participating in crucial fights or being very passive. But you cannot take edge cases to justify the entire argument. Especially considering, we have all been in the position where there’s no objective to take in the map, so you are farming to increase your advantage, but your team takes on a 4v5 anyway. And this isn’t a one-off occurrence either.

Enemy team also makes 100s of mistakes

The 100s of mistakes we make are applicable to everyone, so it is not sufficient to use this alone to establish that the loser’s queue doesn’t exist. Even Tyler1, someone who has reached challenger in all ranks, faces unfair treatment in many of his matches where the team is clearly not on the same level as enemies.

Riot Phroxzon says that we should have a non-giving-up mentality, play to our win conditions, and review every death to improve our lacking and have a growth mentality. But he doesn’t talk about the cases where a player does everything right, and is supervised by a coach, but still doesn’t see improvement.

However, I agree that if we reviewed our matches, we would find things that, if done differently, could have given us different results. But this is the same for the enemy team. If they did those things correctly, they would still win. So why blame only the losing player?

In the scenario where both teams do the same number of things correctly, the team with better players would win. That’s where matchmaking plays a big role because if your 4 teammates’ summed-up skill level doesn’t match the opponent’s, you cannot do much unless you are a smurf.

Smurfs can do it, right?

Yes, smurfs can do it. But they have the experience from the higher ranks. And this ‘unfairness’ is stopping people from getting the said experience, one might retort. Also, Riot Phroxzon doesn’t answer why someone has to play to their fullest just to reach even platinum. Like why can’t you win a match by just ‘barely’ outperforming your counterpart in the enemy team? Why do you have to make sure you ‘make up’ for your team’s weakness?

Riot claims that if you play better than your counterpart, you will indeed climb after a time. But why does one have to wait for 100s of games for that? Also, you can just get lucky after 100s of matches anyway. A fair game should reward the player on the basis of his individual performance too.

MMR reduction from others’ mistakes shouldn’t be a thing

Riot Games just doesn’t want to do that. You can’t even prevent LP losses in matches where someone leaves right after the 30-minute mark. Yes, LP loss mitigation exists, but a loss still affects your MMR.

Finally, the ones who seem to talk against the existence of the loser’s queue always seem to be the minority, usually belonging to the higher ranks. Who is to say that they aren’t the lucky ones who didn’t feel the wrath of the matchmaking algorithm?

We don’t have internal insight as to whether Riot really implements a loser’s queue, but their arguments don’t really tie up the loose end.

In conclusion, Riot’s response to the loser’s queue seems like an assuring promise, but without enough evidence to back it up. To unearth the myth of the loser’s queue, Riot needs to show more relevant statistics and a better interpretation.

Baron Nashor can now dance during rest in League of Legends to cheer up the mood.

One month into season 2024 of League of Legends, we are still processing all the massive changes made to the rift. I still haven’t had the chance to familiarize myself with the new terrains on the map, Rift Herald rework, and especially Baron Nashor changes.

Baron has been a staple to Lol’s core gameplay. It is the most important buff available on the map that allows any team to instantly get a massive lead in gold through empowered minions by crushing the turrets. Baron has become a symbol of intense competition between the two teams near the baron pit.

Baron usually gives off this scary and hungry monster, ready to obliterate anything that comes in its way. However, so much action is not good for health. Riot has decided to give Baron something to enjoy life a bit.

In this article, know what new feature Baron has received in the latest update of Lol, that is patch 14.3

Baron Dance in League of Legends

That’s right. Shelly is not the only one who can dance. Void’s finest monster has finally managed to learn how to move its body a little after a practice of nearly a decade.

Surprisingly, Baron’s dance animation resembles Aatrox’s dance emote. And the posture reminds me of Aurelion Sol’s stature in general.

This obviously won’t affect the gameplay. But sometimes, fun little things can go a long way to uplift the mood of many. For that, this change is very appreciable in my opinion.

When will Baron Nashor Dance Animation be Added?

The new dance animation for Baron has already been implemented in League of Legends servers since patch 14.3.

Terminus will get big buffs in League of Legends patch 14.4.

League of Legends season 2024 had some massive changes to its gameplay, shifting the meta completely. This includes map changes and Baron and Rift Herald reworks among many others. But the item system overhaul was the most noticeable among them.

Mythic items were removed as a category. New items with very unique effects were introduced. Almost all the champions had their playstyle somewhat altered to cope with the drastic meta change. Some champions like Trundle and Yorick became insanely effective due to the gained synergy from new item changes. Some champions, especially mages, lost their ways a bit due to the removal of Ludens Echo. All in all, the game still continues to go under changes every patch to a more stable meta.

Terminus was one of the new items that were introduced in this season. It is mainly an ADC item that also provides survivability in the form of Armor, Magic Resist, as well as offense through its armor and magic penetration. Despite seeming very overturned initially, it did not land the mark compared to other new items. The stats themselves were a bit underwhelming, proving to be completely irrelevant for the highest DPS dealers.

That’s why Riot is going to dial up some of the numbers of this item in patch 14.4. More details in this article.

The following are the changes that will be coming to League of Legends in the next patch:

  • Number of stacks reduced from 5 to 3
  • Resist per stack changed from 3/4/5 (1/11/14) to 6 – 8 (8 – 18)
  • Max resists changed from 15/20/25 to 18 – 24
  • Pen per stack increased from 6% to 10% (max unchanged)

The most noticeable changes, and the most potentially effective ones, are the reduction in required stacks to get the resist and penetrations. So, you needed 5 stacks to activate the penetration passive (for both AD and magic damage) and another 5 for the resists (Armor and MR). But now, the requirement for both cases will be reduced to 3. So, 6 in total for both types of stats.

Not to mention, Penetration per stack is going to be raised to 10%, providing even more boost to its offensive power. The resist per stack and max resist numbers have been slightly modified but they aren’t as big as the aforementioned ones.

Overall, these changes should make Terminus a viable item for Marksman champions, as well as the champion relying on attack speed (Yasuo, Yone, etc.)

When will Terminus Changes be Live?

All the mentioned changes to Terminus will be implemented into the game from patch 14.4, scheduled to be released on Thursday, February 22, 2024

Rift Herald charge speed, damage from collision, and player-summoned spawn have been changed by Riot in patch 14.3.

As you may have already seen, League of Legends season 2024 has implemented major gameplay changes. Map, Baron, Items, etc. got a significant overhaul. Rift Herald’s rework, in particular, is very noticeable due to the flashiness of Shelly’s charge.

Before this season, after defeating the herald, you would collect the eye and then crush it to spawn it to crush the turrets. Players didn’t have any control over the Rift Herald after summoning. In this season, however, you could also mount it and dictate its charge trajectory by having the freedom to maneuver the direction of its motion.

However, there were some balancing issues and bugs. In patch 14.3, Riot has addressed them to make the Rift Herald mechanics more polished.

In this article, I will be noting down the key changes for you.

All the Changes to Rift Herald in Lol Patch 14.3

These are the specific Rift Herald changes from the patch note:

  • Slow Start (New): For the first three seconds after spawning, Rift Herald has very high maneuverability and will be easier to turn. Every 2 seconds after Herald slowly becomes less maneuverable as its speed increases.
  • Damage from Wall Collision: Crashing into a wall while controlling Herald will deal damage equal to that of crashing into a tower to Shelly ⇒ Crashing into a wall while controlling Herald will deal 20% of the damage received compared to crashing into a tower to Shelly
  • We Don’t Have All Game…: Player-summoned Rift Herald trinket spawning has been sped up by 1 second.

The ‘Slow Start’ change is a new addition, intended to make the maneuverability of Shelly easier. Instead of having high and unstable control from the beginning, you now get some time to adjust where you want to drive it. But Shelly will keep accelerating every 2 seconds to increase its speed and as a trade-off, the maneuverability will gradually decline.

Damage received from wall collision is reduced to 20% (of damage dealt to the turret), making it less punishing for bad maneuvers.

Riot also notes a known bug concerning Rift Herald. When you mount the Rift Herald, there is a direction indicator, if you don’t click on it on time, Rift Herald doesn’t register the command. This is not fixed yet but Riot has promised to resolve it very soon.

When will the Rift Herald Changes be Live?

Since patch 14.3 has already dropped on the live servers, you should already be able to see the aforementioned changes.

Riot has increased chat penalties and made some minor behavioral system changes in Lol patch 14.3.

League of Legends and toxicity have been used in the same sentence so many times, that they have become quite synonymous. Sarcasm aside, Riot has been very seriously experimenting with drastic changes to the behavioral system as of late.

Last year, we have seen massive changes to ping. Now players cannot spam scoreboard ping on teammates as no one else can see them. Only the pings necessary for communicating something gameplay-related are allowed. Since then, Riot has been making minor adjustments to counter-balance any hindrance arising from the massive overhaul.

The report system also works much better than ever now. I can almost always see feedback on valid reports confirming the appropriate penalties. In patch 14.3, Riot has made some further adjustments as a part of their mission to perfect the behavioral system.

In this article, I will be presenting to you the changes that they have made in the current patch.

All the Behavioral System Changes in Lol Patch 14.3

Chat Penalties Duration Increased

Riot takes seriously to chat abuse. Almost any kind of offensive language usage is discouraged heavily. If you use any slur, you get the system muted by default. And if the severity is high and you get reported, then the system imposes chat restrictions that can last for several games to even days.

In patch 14.3, Riot will be elongating the duration of all kinds of chat penalties even more. This includes spamming the chat, using abusive language to offend others, etc. Riot’s algorithm to detect slurs has also improved a lot now. So, even the ‘vaguely’ written slurs often get detected. As time passes, the system will get even stricter.

Dialog Box Pop-up After Reporting

Other than penalizing the offender, Riot also wants to ensure that the recipient of verbal abuse can do something to prevent or mitigate the frequency of such bad experiences. One of the measures they have implemented is the easy block option after reporting someone for verbal abuse.

A pop-up dialog box usually appears at the end of the game where you are suggested to either block or make changes to the system. But some people might find it annoying to have this box pop up upon every report at the end of the match, given that many people don’t care about blocking at all. So, from patch 14.3, Riot has added the option to toggle it off using the “Do not show this again” command. But, you can toggle it off any time you want from Chat & Friends settings.

When will these Behavioral System Changes be Live?

The aforementioned changes have already been implemented with patch 14.3, which went live on February 7, 2024.

Porcelain Darius, the newest epic skin of his, will be released in Lol patch 14.4.

League of Legends‘ enormous skin collection will be getting another gorgeous addition to it with all the sophisticated designs you can think of. This year has already started with some really great new skin lines—for example, Dragonmancer, Primal Ambush, and Heavenscale rosters. The Lunar New Year celebration did not stop there because we have yet another great skin line coming very soon.

This time, it’s the return of Porcelain skins. In 2022, we saw the first-ever line-up of this aesthetic. We had not seen any new porcelain skins in 2023. However, the blue and white gorgeous patterned clothes will once again adorn a new set of champions in 2024. Darius, Irelia, Miss Fortune, Graves, and Aurelion Sol are the new recipients this time. Kindred will once again get a spotlight as she is to receive a prestige version of her existing Porcelain skin.

Porcelain skins, besides being very pleasant to the eyes, also offer elegant VFX and sounds in the game, making the champions look and feel buttery smooth.

In this article, I will be providing you with the details of Porcelain Darius.
