Riot has revealed one of the upcoming Wild Rift skins, Glorious Armada Olaf. Here’s how you can get it for free.
Even though both League of Legends and Wild Rift have unique game modes, ranked is the most prominent game mode in the entire game. In it, players compete against players of similar skill for a chance to earn a good rank. To incentivize players to play ranked, Riot gives out free rewards to players when they reach certain ranks.
One major thing Wild Rift has that League PC doesn’t is the Legendary Ranked queue. Once you hit Masters in ranked, you will unlock the Legendary Ranked queue with even more unique ranks. Moreover, players can only play solo in this queue. Moreover, climbing on this queue doesn’t affect the regular MMR as it is a completely separate ladder. Overall, it is a queue for those unsatisfied by the normal ranked ladder and wanting more.
However, Riot has a hard time incentivizing players to play the Legendary Ranked queue. The main reason for that is the lack of rewards. Besides showing off the new ranks, there is nothing more to achieve here. Due to this, this queue didn’t have many skilled casual players who would have played this mode.
But in the recent patch, they revealed some of the new skins that are coming to the game. One of these skins can only be earned for free if in the Legendary Queue ladder. And that skin is Glorious Armada Olaf. Here’s how you can get this skin.

How To Get Glorious Armada Olaf
There are two ways you can get this skin. One way is completely free, and the other way, you have to spend your ranked coins.
The free method is you have to reach Guardian IV in Legendary Queue. That also indirectly means that you also have to reach Masters in the solo queue. But if you did reach Guardian IV, you can claim this skin as soon as possible.
The other method is spending 20000 Ranked Coins in the ranked shop. This method is mainly for those who didn’t get to claim the skin when it was available as a free reward.
Release Date
Glorious Armada Olaf is coming out on Wild Rift on December 1, 2023. So get ready to grind if you haven’t reached Guardian IV already.
