The very first permanent Portcrystal you’ll likely stumble across resides right outside the building that houses the Grand Riftstone of Vermund in Vernworth. You’ll reach this capital city as part of the main quest, “Seat of The Sovereign.”

Portcrystal #2 — Harve Village

You’ll need to make your way southeast along the shore path from Bakbattahl to reach this location. Access to this Portcrystal requires further progression after arriving at the island area.

Portcrystal #6 — Bakbattahl

Shockingly, there is no permanent Portcrystal in the southern capital city of Bakbattahl. However, all is not lost! You can place down your own portable Portcrystal anywhere in the area, giving you an easy fast travel point. In fact, Bakbattahl is one of the best places to set up a personal Portcrystal since you’ll be revisiting frequently.

How to Get Portable Portcrystals

A Trial of Archery

Your first portable Portcrystal can be earned by completing the “A Trial of Archery” side quest, which you can initiate by talking to an elf named Glind at Roderick’s Smithy in Vernworth.

Forested Griffin’s Nest

Head west of Vernworth and northeast of Checkpoint Rest Town to the Misty Marshes region. Deep within lies the Forested Griffin’s Nest, where you can snag another portable Portcrystal as a reward.

Feast of Deception

As a reward for finishing the main quest “Feast of Deception,” you’ll receive a portable Portcrystal from none other than Captain Brant.

The Dragonforged Stash

This shady vendor resides in the Bay Wayside Shrine, north of Bakbattahl. For 20 hard-earned Wyrmslife Crystals, he’ll sell one of his portable Portcrystals.

Microtransaction

If you really want to take the easy way out, portable Portcrystals can be purchased through microtransactions on the Microsoft Store, PlayStation Store, and Steam. But where’s the fun in that?

With these locations and methods at your disposal, you’ll be flying across the lands of Gransys like a true master Arisen!
