How to Obtain Ferrystones
Let me share a few surefire methods I’ve discovered for getting my hands on those Ferrystones:
1. Shopping for Stones
You can buy Ferrystones from general merchants and sundry shops scattered throughout the major towns and villages. They will cost you 10,000 gold apiece, but trust me, they are worth every penny. I always check the shops in places like Vernworth, Bakbattahl, and Harve Village whenever I’m passing through.
Here is a list of vendor locations in Dragon’s Dogma 2 where you can purchase Ferrystones:
- Agamen Ruins Apothecary (Agamen Ruins)

2. Wandering Wares
You’ll often find wandering merchants on the roads between settlements. They also sell Ferrystones. So, do check them out when you find one. How can you spot a wandering merchant? Just look for NPCs who are carrying oversized backpacks.

How to Use Ferrystones
Once I’ve acquired a Ferrystone, using it is straightforward: I simply open my inventory, select the Ferrystone, and choose which activated Portcrystal I want to travel to. I’m instantly sent to my destination with a brief teleportation animation, saving me a long cross-country journey. Just be warned – each Ferrystone is a single-use item, so you have to be very careful about when and where you use them.
