The Capital of the United Colonies offers up a wealth of content.
Starfield offers a vast universe for players to explore. A universe that is often tricky to navigate. Nothing exemplifies this more than the game’s main hub city, New Atlantis, the biggest city in Starfield; it is also the largest city ever created in a video game.
It is home to a vast amount of content and is also the home of the Constellation Lodge. So, you will frequent the city throughout the game.
To ensure you never get lost looking for or traversing this pivotal location, this guide will show you where it is on the map, a list of all the shops you can visit, and all the missions you can do.
New Atlantis Map Location
New Atlantis is located in the Alpha Centauri system, the closest system to the Sol System, on the Planet Jamison. It has four districts, and you can unlock fast travel to it once you have discovered them all.
New Atlantis Shops
Shops are a crucial part of the player’s journey as it allows you to replenish your inventory, buying and selling items. This metropolis has no shortage of shops, containing 16 in total. Below is a list of all of them in no order.
- Centurion Arsenal: Directly East of the MAST to the residential district, it is a good weapons and armor shop for the early game.
- UC Distribution Centre: Left of the MAST in the commercial district, next door to the skyscraper. It sells miscellaneous goods as well as weapons and ammo. Also sells United Colonies gear
- UC Surplus: Sells cheaper and lower quality United Colonies gear and has some stock unavailable in the Distribution Centre.
- CJ’s: In the Residential District, northwest of Centurion Arsenal. A small shop that sells food, drinks, and ingredients.
- EIT Clothiers: At the top of the Residential District, north of CJ’s. As its name suggests, the shop sells apparel. Although they don’t have any armor, you may just find your favorite outfit here.
- Jake’s Bar: A small tavern down in the well, the underground section of New Atlantis, right of the Med Bay, sells food and drink. You can also start a few side quests here.
- Reliant Medical: At the top of the residential district, northwest of EIT Clothiers. Sells medical supplies and has a doctor who can fully restore your health and remove any negative effects. It’s an important location if you plan on getting into a lot of combat.
- Med Bay: In the Well, near Jake’s Bar. Sells medical supplies at a cheaper price than Reliant Medical, although it is not as well stocked.
- Jemison Mercantile: Near the bottom of the commercial district, southwest of the MAST. One of the busier shops it is a general goods store, so you can find all kinds of items and gear here.
- Chunks: In the Residential District, south of Centurion Arsenal. Sells the cube food blocks that you can consume for buffs, which it is named after.
- Apex Electronics: In the Well, an electronics shop that sells raw resources and components.
- Dawn’s Roost: On the bottom floor of the Pioneer Tower in the south of the Residential District, southwest of Chunks and southeast of the MAST. A cafe that sells more expensive food and drinks.
- Terrabrew Coffee: Commerical District, next to Jemison Mercantile. Sells Coffee, a handy item that restores health and boosts Oxygen recovery.
- Trade Authority: It has a kiosk in the spaceport, but more importantly, its main operation, where you can safely sell contraband, is in the Well.
- Whestone: Commercial District, west of the MAST. Sells food and drink
- Outland: Mid North of the Commercial District, next to Whetstone, sells a variety of gear but most importantly buys any kind of gear you may have.
- Enhance!: Commercial District, next to Outland. Lets you edit your character’s looks for 500 credits.
New Atlantis Missions
Starfield has a lot of missions, both important for the main storyline and side content. It’s obvious that its largest city would have a bulk of quests and objectives. Below is a list of all the missions you can start and complete in New Atlantis.
