New reports claimed that Bethesda’s Starfield will not be coming to PlayStation 5 after all.

It was previously claimed that the Xbox-exclusive title Starfield would be released on PlayStation 5 in 2024. According to an older report from XboxEra, an anonymous source claimed that Bethesda and Microsoft were planning to release Starfield on PlayStation. In addition, Microsoft is also planning to bring Hi-Fi Rush, Sea of Thieves, and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle to Sony’s current generation console.

Starfield was the biggest Xbox-exclusive title released in 2023, and Microsoft claimed that the game would be exclusive to its platform. However, the anonymous source told XboxEra that Microsoft planned to bring the title to PlayStation with the upcoming “Shattered Space” expansion.

Starfield Will Remain Xbox Exclusive

Reputable insider and leaker NateTheHate posted on Twitter to shut down rumours that Starfield will not be coming to PlayStation 5. On Twitter, Nate said, “I’ve rechecked the info mentioned below & the information suggesting Starfield was PS5-bound is false.”

According to Nate’s sources, the previous information was inaccurate, and Starfield will never come to PlayStation. However, Nate only spoke about Starfield but did not mention any other title in his tweets. Gears of War was another big title rumoured to be coming to PlayStation 5.

However, the rumours of Starfield and other titles coming to PlayStation 5 prompted Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer to address the issue. He later announced that Xbox would host a business event where the company will share its “vision for the future of Xbox.”

Tom Warren of The Verge reported that Microsoft is ready to reveal details on bringing previous Xbox-exclusive games to consoles like Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5. The community now have to wait for the Xbox event to be held and see if Phil Spencer and the team are bringing any massive changes to Xbox’s business model.

One of the biggest RPGs developed by Bethesda will be released for PlayStation 5 sometime later in 2024.

Starfield is an action role-playing game developed and published by Bethesda. The game features a massive open world within the Milky Way galaxy, containing both fictional and non-fictional planetary systems. After being delayed several times, Starfield was released on September 6, 2023, for Xbox Series X/S and Windows PC.

Even though Starfield was one of the biggest titles released in 2023, the game was launched as an Xbox exclusive since Bethesda is owned by Microsoft, leaving PlayStation 5 behind. However, new reports claim that Microsoft is planning to Bethesda’s popular RPG to PlayStation 5 with some additional features later in 2024.

Starfield’s Possible Release on PlayStation 5

According to a new report from XboxEra, an anonymous source claimed that Bethesda and Microsoft are planning to release the popular RPG on Sony’s current generation console. In addition, Microsoft is also planning to bring the previously rumored Hi-Fi Rush and Sea of Thieves to PlayStation 5.

XboxEra’s anonymous sources also mentioned that Microsoft is preparing to launch Starfield on PlayStation 5 with the already announced “Shattered Space” expansion for Xbox and PC. The source also stated that Microsoft has made additional investments in PlayStation 5 developer kits to support the ongoing development. Shattered Space expansion was targeted to release for Xbox and PC sometime later this year.

The report stated that the hit titles Hi-Fi Rush and Sea of Thieves will be coming to PlayStation, and Hi-Fi Rush could be released as soon as in Q1 2024. The source claimed that Microsoft will publicly announce the game’s arrival on PlayStation 5 later in February 2024.

Releasing Starfield on PlayStation would be a significant change in Microsoft’s business strategy. Sarah Bond, the president of Xbox, previously stated that Starfield was going to be an Xbox exclusive. According to the XboxEra report, some senior employees are not happy with the decision to bring an Xbox exclusive to PlayStation.

Microsoft senior leadership have reportedly debated the various pros and cons of releasing more of their exclusive software elsewhere, and internally, not everyone is necessarily happy with the decision, but recouping the potential money ‘left on the table’ by not releasing elsewhere has arguably won out.

How To Use the Console Command Menu

How To Use the Console Command Menu

The first step to using console commands is accessing Starfield’s console command menu. Here’s how you open it:

  • PC: Tap the tilde (~) key. This is typically found below the Esc key.
  • Xbox: Unfortunately, console commands are not natively available on Xbox. However, you can utilize them indirectly via cross-save.

When you tap the tilde key, the game will pause and a text input box appears. This is the console command menu. Now you can start entering codes!

How To Activate Cheats on Xbox through A Cross-save

Here’s how Xbox players can leverage console commands through cross-save:

  1. Enable cross-save and cloud sync between your Xbox and PC.
  2. Load your game on PC and enable the console commands you want.
  3. Sync your cloud save.
  4. Continue playing on Xbox with your cheats enabled!

While not as seamless as native Xbox support, this lets you access console commands indirectly.

You can customize Starfield almost endlessly with console commands. It lets you enable cheats for infinite health and resources, spawn anything you want, manipulate time and NPCs, and edit your character’s stats and skills.

Take the time to experiment with all the possibilities — that’s half the fun! But be warned: excessive cheating can break quests and ruin your save file, so use discretion.

Follow this guide to get your hands on Raptor!

For a space-exploration game like Starfield, ships are imperative. Ships are integral to Starfield’s gameplay, as you need them to travel from one system to another. But they are far from just a mode of transportation or fending off enemies. Piloting a spaceship is one of the most satisfying and fun things to do in the RPG. Also, watching “Star Wars” has always made us dream about one thing, that is to be a Space Pirate and commandeer a cool ship.

One such cool-looking spaceship in Starfield is the Raptor. Besides its stylish design, the ship also holds ample stats. The Raptor is a combat-type ship available in the first parts of the game. By now, you must be eyeing this ship for its design and stats. But getting your hands on this ship in this vast universe can be a tad difficult. So, keep reading as we show you how to get a Raptor ship in Starfield.

How To Get Raptor Ship in Starfield

We all know Starfield has a class system for the ships ranked according to their Reactor power. Of the three classes(Class A, Class B, Class C), Raptor falls in class A. While the ship may belong to the weakest class, Raptor certainly isn’t short on stats.

In order to get the ship, you will have to purchase it from the ship vendors found in all the major cities. The Raptor I goes for 92,575 credits. If you don’t find the ship in the Vendor, you will have to wait for the ship technician to restock. The easiest and most efficient restocking method includes going to Venus, Sol star system. There, you will have to sleep for 24 Hours on your ship. This process will ensure a completely new stock in the Vendor.

You can find some notable ship vendors and shops in Akila City, Cydonia, Neon (Stroud Eklund Showroom and Taiyo Astroneering Showroom), New Atlantis, Deimos Staryard (Nikau Henderson), Gagarin Landing, and HopeTown (HopeTech Showroom).

Stock 7.62x39MM Ammo as much as you want!

Starfield harbors a plethora of weapons throughout its vast settled systems. Bethesda has made sure the weapons arsenal is diverse and comes in variations. The game has both advanced and traditional firearms available, as players’ preferred weapon types vary according to their playstyle. All weapons come with different kinds of ammunition. And ensuring a constant supply of this ammo is compulsory as you continuously face adversaries in the RPG.

One such type of ammunition in Starfield is the 7.62x39mm ammo. It is a traditional ammo used for a variety of firearms. But it might not be the easiest of jobs to maintain a constant supply of this ammo. Collecting ammo only by looting might not cover your demand, as combat is a major part of this game. Without further ado, let us dive into the guide about where to get 7.62x39mm ammo in Starfield.

Where to Get 7.62x39MM Ammo in Starfield

The 7.62x39MM ammo is used in three Rifles-

  • Fury
  • Gallow’s Reach
  • Old Earth Assault Rifle

So, for the above-mentioned Rifle bearers, looting is the easiest way to collect the ammo. You will find the ammo in containers, enemy loots, and outposts. But as mentioned above, this process isn’t sufficient for the longer run as you only find them in small amounts.

So, to ensure a constant supply of the 7.62x39MM ammo, purchasing them from weapon vendors is the best option. You can easily purchase this ammo in hefty amounts from your closest gunshop. Notable Weapon Vendor locations-

  • Centaurion Arsenal, New Atlantis, Jemison
  • UC Surplus, The Well, Jemison
  • Jemison Mercantile, New Atlantis, Jemison
  • UC Distribution Center, New Atlantis, Jemison
  • Rowland Arm, Akila City, Akila
  • Shepherd’s General Store, Akila City, Akila
  • Neon Tactical Neon, Volii Alpha
  • Newill’s Goods, Neon, Volii Alpha
  • UC Exchange, Cydonia, Mars

If vendors run out of ammo stock, you can just go to space and wait for 24 hours local time on your ship. After this, you will find the vendor restocked.

Here are all the outpost structures you can build in Starfield.

Starfield allows the players to explore the vast universe, consisting of over a thousand planets and several star systems. As the game slowly unravels the mystery of the universe, the players will travel to many worlds and complete different activities. Moreover, there will be countless enemies on their journey for the story’s sake. Thus, they would need proper resources to build weapons and other structures.

Outposts are an essential part of this journey. These are based on any planet that has an abundance of resources, and the players might be required to visit often. Additionally, outpost structures are buildings that make these outposts habitable for the players, kind of like rooms or hallways.

Types of Outpost Structures in Starfield

There are four main types of Outpost Structure:

  1. Airlocks: These are the entrances to the Habs or Hallways. Without an airlock, you cannot enter any Hab or Hallway, so these are very important structures.
  2. Habs: Habs are basically rooms that you can use to set up your belongings or workbenches.
  3. Hallways: Hallways are structures used to connect to Habs or rooms.
  4. Towers: Towers are mainly for the security of your outpost. It gives you a high ground to take a look at your outpost from the top.

The most hostile alien life in Starfield is the Terrormorph. We will show you all the types of breeds in this guide.

Uncover the hidden mysteries in every corner of Starfield in your spaceship and fight against the extraterrestrial hostile rivals in this action RPG. Complete missions and side quests to unlock resources and upgrades. Visit different planetary systems to gather natural resources for surviving and researching.

While exploring various planets in Starfield, you may encounter many exotic Creatures roaming here and there. Most of them are friendly and do not attack. But some scary Creatures lurk in the back and strike heavily. One of these terrorizing Creatures is Terrormorphs.

These Terrormorphs can be found on different planets, and Starfield has several types. Terrormorphs are pretty hostile and can easily damage you with their fierce power and size.

All Terrormorph Types in Starfield

The Terrormorphs keep their names alive; they are genuinely terrifying. These dangerous creatures walk on four feet and destroy everything in their way. All types of terrormorphs have a large set of teeth to rip everything apart. The sizes of their bodies vary from one to another, but all of those breeds are highly threatening and savage. Moreover, you may need to use powerful weapons to kill these horrifying creatures in Starfield. So below are all the terrmorph types:

Albino Terrormorph

These are the white versions of the regular Terrormorphs. But they can jump and scream at you, even more potent than normal ones. You may find these types of Terrormorph on the surface of Kreet when searching for the past Oceans and even in Narion System planets.

If you find one, slay it down to gather items such as:

  • Alien Genetic Material
  • Quark-Degenerate Tissues
  • 5X Hallucinogens
  • 4X Fiber

Regular Terrormorph

Though these are less strong than the Albino ones, stay careful in front of them as they can also rip you apart from within if you don’t take corrective measures. You may find these Normal Terrormorphs in the Tau Ceti II in the Ceti Planetary Systems.

In the mission of the Vanguard Faction, you may find your first regular Terrormorph. And once you see these, kill it and obtain resources like;

  • Alien Genetic Material
  • Quark-Degenerate Tissues
  • 5X Hallucinogens
  • 4X Fiber

Use powerful weapons and explosives to kill the Terrormorphs in Starfield. As the source of the Terrormorph is unknown in Starfield, always watch your back and keep your gears ready and upgraded.
