VALORANT Battle passes are the best way to pick up a lot of different skins for a relatively cheap cost. This article highlights the best skins from each battle pass that are the most unique and vibrant.
Each season, Riot Games releases a new battle pass containing a selection of cosmetic items, including weapon skins, sprays, player cards, player titles, gun buddies, and Radianite points that can be earned across 50 tiers. Extra RP, a spray, and a player card can also be earned in the Epilogue chapter.
To unlock these premium battle pass rewards, one needs to purchase the battle pass for 1000 VP ($10, region dependent) and grind the game. You can progress through the tiers by earning XP by simply playing the game. A good chunk of bonus XP can also be earned by completing the daily and weekly missions, so playing regularly does pay off. The best part is the earned XP stacks between both the Battle pass and Agent contract, so you’ll progress both with the same XP. Purchasing the battle pass grants a cool 3% XP boost.
You can still obtain free rewards even if you don’t purchase the battle pass. The Epilogue is available to all, and a free player can claim those rewards. Each battle pass rewards premium players with 13 skins, 16 sprays, 3 player titles, 13 player cards, 9 gun buddies, and 150 RP.

Best VALORANT Battle Pass Skin from Each Season
As we’ve come to know, you can obtain skins as well as other cosmetic items from each season’s battle pass. Focusing on the weapon skins, let’s highlight the best ones from each battle pass.
Episode 1: Act 1
The first battle pass ever released, the Episode 1: Act 1 battle pass showcased the Kingdom, Couture, and Dot.exe collections. Among them, the Kingdom Phantom stands out as the best skin from that battle pass.
Episode 1: Act 2
The second one came after the first battle pass, bringing a bit more color to the mix. The Hivemind, POLYfox, and Red Alert skins were released. Among them, the Red Alert Operator is the best, with the POLYfox skins getting an honorable mention.
Episode 1: Act 3
The third battle pass was by far one of the best Battle passes released that took the community by storm. The sole reason is the inclusion of the Ruin Dagger, a melee skin with the Dagger animation style.
Episode 2: Act 1
With the release of each battle pass, the skins got better with no exception to Episode 2’s first battle pass. It came with the Aerosol, Outpost, and Infinity collection. Although the Infinity collection and the Outpost melee are utter disappointments, the Aerosol Odin and Outpost Ghost skins turned out to be good-looking, vibrant skins.
Episode 2: Act 2
The next battle pass came with the POLYfrog, Prism III, and Cavalier skin collection, which is probably the worst battle pass released in the game in terms of weapon skins. The only redeeming factor of this battle pass is the Prism III Axe which also comes in color variants.
Episode 2: Act 3
The last Battle pass for Episode 2 was fairly decent, including the Songsteel, Depths, and Lightwave collection. Our favorite from the bunch is the Songsteel sword and Lightwave Phantom.
Episode 3: Act 1
The Episode 3: Act 1 battle pass was one of the most balanced battle passes in the game in terms of weapon and melee skin. The K/Tac (themed after Kay/O) and Monarch collections look very good, with the Jigsaw collection being average. The K/TAC Vandal and Blade, along with the Monarch Marshall, are our favorites from this act.
Episode 3: Act 3
The Episode 3: Act 2 battle pass was completely disappointing in terms of weapon skins, so we will jump straight to Act 3. The Aero, Genesis (themed after Astra), and Goldwing skin collections have been introduced with this battle pass. Out of them, the first two collections are average, with the Goldwing Ghost standing out to us.
Episode 4: Act 1
This is where things got good again, as after 6 different battle passes, Riot finally included a knife with a Dagger animation in the battle pass again. Episode 4: Act 1 battle pass includes the Hydrodip, Schema, and Velocity skin collections from which the Hydrodip skins and Velocity Karambit look the best.
Episode 4: Act 2
The second act’s battle pass from Episode 4 included the Divine swine, Lycan’s Bane, and Striker skin collections. Although the Striker collection and its Melee are very underwhelming, the Lycan’s Bane Odin and Divine Swine Judge are some really detailed and colorful skins, respectively.
Episode 4: Act 3
This battle pass includes the Hue shift, Coalition: Cobra, and .SYS skin collections, which ended on June 21st. The Hue Shift Phantom and Coalition: Cobra Judge are our favorites from this battle pass with .SYS skins are a more love-it-or-hate-it situation.
Episode 5: Act 1
We’ve covered many melee skins. So for this specific Battle Pass, we’ll focus on Operator and Phantom skins. Although the Operator skin is a Select Edition skin from the Spitfire collection, it still looks astonishing. Also, if you are a Phoenix main, every skin from the collection will satisfy you.
The other skin to talk about is the Phantom from Task Force 809 collection. The skin has a modern look with a clean black and blue accent.
Episode 5: Act 2
The Immortalized Vandal skin from this Battle Pass is one of the sleekest skins in VALORANT. Despite being a Select edition skin, many players prefer to use it over other expensive ones in the game. The golden color with a minimalistic look is the reason for that.
The reaction of the VALORANT community to the violence in Obsidiana is mixed. Because of its shape, many people refer to it as a spiral lollipop. Nonetheless, this melee skin stands out from the crowd. So, it is safe to say that this skin is among the greatest available in this Battle Pass.
Episode 5: Act 3
People who are fans of the Origin Crescent Blade definitely found the Iridian Thorn Blade interesting. In addition to the melee weapon, the Vandal skin from the Starlit Odessey collection is highly desirable.
Episode 6: Act 1
The 9 Lives skin collection features 4 different Agent upgrades. Players who are fond of Jett, Reyna, Raze, or Viper love this skin collection, especially the Phantom. The other best skin from this battle pass remains the Venturi Spectre from Episode 6 Act 1 battle pass. Although other good skins are available from this collection, we picked Spectre as not many battle pass Spectres have good skins.
Episode 6: Act 2
Although the Tilde collection’s melee didn’t satisfy many, the other skins compensate for the shortcomings. Among all the skins, Tilde Bulldog stands out the most. On the other hand, Signature Marshal also drew the attention of many. It is arguably the most colorful skin in Marshal’s arsenal.
Episode 6: Act 3
The Moondash collection is featured with an image of a nine-tailed fox. The blue-ish color pattern and fantasy-based image suit best on the Moondash Stinger. Among other collections, the Bound Collections failed to attract any attention. However, the Monstrocity collection features a simple yet decent-looking design, especially for the Vandal.
Episode 7: Act 1
All of the collections in this battle pass feature a simplistic design pattern compared to any other. The Blush Operator, however, succeeds to stand out. With a rare color combination, it creates a desirable Operator skin for pink lovers. Among the other two collections, the Digihex Bulldog looks the best with a futuristic design pattern on a blue base.
Episode 7: Act 2
Episode 7 Act 2 Battle Pass comes with color explosions. All of the skin collections are featured with vibrant color patterns. More importantly, this Battle Pass comes with both the Vandal and Phantom skins. The RDVR Phantom is Deluxe Edition skin, which looks like a Neo Frontier color variant without the upgrades. From the other skins, the Freehand Ghost is certain to catch a few eyes.
Episode 7: Act 3
Episode 7 Act 3 brings back Dagger. The Sandswept Dagger might not be the best skins in the game, but it is one of the best in the collection. Among others, The Silhouette collection features animal images for different gun skins. Silhouette Ares, with its long snake image, is the best match.
So this wraps up the Best Battle Pass skins in VALORANT. Note that, like all lists, this is subjective, and your personal rankings might differ from the ones we have here.
