Riot Games reveals the 2021 edition of Battle Academia skins for Caitlyn, Wukong, Garen, and Leona, which are releasing in patch 11.6.
Battle Academia skins are set in an alternate League of Legends universe where champions go to the school that cultivates the next generation of superheroes. Riot Games first released Battle Academia skins back in 2019, and those skins are still loved by many.
Now, Riot Games has announced the 2021 Battle Academia skin line for Caitlyn, Yone, Wukong, Garen, and Leona. And this time, Leona will be getting the Prestige Edition skin in League of Legends.
Earlier this month, there was a rumor that Caitlyn is getting the new Battle Academia skin, and it will be a Legendary skin tier. And apparently, it seems the leak was true after all, as Riot officially confirmed it is a Legendary skin.

With this new Battle Academia, Caitlyn now has a total of 12 skins in League of Legends. It will also be her first skin since the Arcade Caitlyn skin that was released back in 2019.
All the new Battle Academia skins are going live on PBE for testing and are scheduled to be released in League of Legends patch 11.6.
