Riot has confirmed that Samira will be the next champion to receive an ultimate skin.
There are many types of cosmetics in League of Legends. And the most sought-after cosmetics are the champion skins.
Within champion skins, there are different tiers. Each skin tier offers something unique to its user, and they cost differently as well. For example, currently, most of the skins in the game are of epic rarity. Epic skins have unique recall animations, VFX, SFX, and new textures. Next up are legendary skins. Compared to epic skins, legendary skins feel like entirely different champions as Riot completely overhauls their models, animations, and voiceovers.
And finally, there are ultimate skins. They offer the same things as legendary skins with some additional features. They have some unique gimmicks attached to them as well. Additionally, they are some of the most expensive skins in the game.
Released in 2012, Pulsefire Ezreal was the first ultimate skin released in League of Legends. Not only it offered unique animations and voice lines, but it also offered different in-game models based on the match level. And in 2020, Riot released the last ultimate skin in the form of K/DA Seraphine. Afterward, they did not reveal any information about upcoming ultimate skins, let alone release one.
However, Riot Games have recently confirmed that the upcoming League of Legends ultimate skin is on the horizon. Furthermore, the champion who will be receiving this skin is Samira.
