The Esports World Cup is the ultimate event for gamers to prove themselves and leave their footprints. From 2024, the Esports World Cup will be held annually in Saudi Arabia, Riyadh. Among many games, Apex Legends will also be a part of EWC 2024, ready to go live on July 31, 2024. Here, you’ll find what teams are participating in the event, as well as the full schedule and live standings.
All Apex Legends Teams in EWC 2024
40 teams will participate in Esports World Cup 2024’s Apex Legends event. Among them, 10 teams are from North America, 9 teams are from EMEA, 10 teams are from APAC North, 9 teams are from APAC South, and 2 teams is from South America.

Tournament Format
The EWC 2024 Apex Legends tournament will have three phases: Group Stage, Last Chance, and Finals. In the Group Stage, 40 teams will be split into 2 even groups of 20 teams each and compete in a series of 10 games. The top 9 teams of each group will advance directly to the Finals. The 10-19 placed teams of each group will advance to the Last Chance. Teams that place 20th will be directly eliminated. The 18 Group Stage teams advancing to the finals will carry points based on their placements.
In the Last Chance stage, 20 teams will play in a series of 10 games. The top 2 teams will advance to the Finals. The rest of the teams will be eliminated.
Similar to ALGS, the Finals will be held in a Match Point format, where the 20 remaining teams will fight against each other. The first team to hit 60 points and then secure a 1st-place finish in upcoming matches will be crowned as the winner. The remaining teams will be ranked by total points awarded in the series.
Schedule
The EWC 2024 Apex Legends tournament will last for 4 days. The first 2 days will be allocated for the Group Stage. The Last Chance stage will be played in the next day. The fourth day is allocated for the Grand Finals.
