]]>Since 2009, League of Legends has been one of the premier competitive games on the market. And the main way to get that competitive experience alone is by playing a ranked solo queue. Additionally, Riot has made tons of changes regarding the ranked queue to make the player experience even better. Not only that, but Riot is entirely changing the ranked system to judge a player’s skill better.
However, if you have a 5-stack team and you are looking for a proper competitive experience, then ranking is not a good option. The built-in ranked flex queue is such a joke that no one takes it seriously. So, as a great in-client alternative, there is Clash.
To explain briefly, Clash is a tournament system within League of Legends where a team can compete in a bracket against other teams, where the more a team wins, the more rewards they get.

]]>Since their introduction in season 8, Prestige skins have become a staple of League of Legends. These skins are color variations of their base epic skin with updated effects.
Prestige skins do not receive that much positive feedback compared to legendary skins. The main reason for that is their price. They usually cost either 2000 event tokens or over 150 Mythic Essence, which makes them hard for most players to get.
This year, we have Heavenscale Ezreal, Dragonmancer Rakan, High Noon Evelynn, Porcelain Kindred, and Empyrean Kayle that released thus far.
That said, here are the Prestige skins that are yet to come out in 2024.
Read more: All Upcoming Skins in League of Legends 2024.
As we are in the latter half of 2024, there have already been a number of Prestige skins released in 2024. Since this article is about covering the skins that will be coming out, here is a list of Prestige skins coming soon.
Moreover, this is also the order they are coming out as well, like Rakan’s prestige is coming out before Ezreal’s and his coming out before Kindred’s. With that said, we can expect that all of the upcoming prestige skins will be of higher quality than before.

]]>The post League of Legends: 12 Best Pantheon Skins appeared first on GameRiv.
]]>Pantheon is one of the earliest League of Legends champions. He was released over a decade ago and was very well-received in the community. But as time passed, he became very clunky since he was a one-dimensional champion. He could only dive in and pick off only one champion and nothing else. As his design and gameplay became very dated, Riot ended up giving him a full VGU (Visual and Gameplay Update) around August 2019.
Pantheon’s VGU was very well received and is currently regarded as one of the best reworks in League of Legends. His rework not only fixed most issues but also made him a very popular champion. To this day, people still play him very actively in ranked across all ranks. Currently, he has the highest win rate in the mid-lane, but he can also be played in the top lane with relative ease. And if you are feeling daring, then you can even try him out in the jungle.
Since Pantheon will remain a staple pick in both casual and ranked, here are all of his skins ranked from worst to best.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
Among all the skins, Ruthless Pantheon is the worst one by far. Even though the concept of this skin is really good, the execution of this skin is done very poorly. A skin set in the post-apocalyptic universe, such as Mad Max, sounds wonderful, but thanks to the model and the default animations, this skin feels more like a downgrade than anything. The only good part about this skin is the splash art more than anything.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
Fullmetal Pantheon is just a downgraded version of Pulsefire Pantheon, not only in terms of visuals but also in terms of concept as well. It is a futuristic-looking skin that does the job well but falls short compared to the superior version, Pulsefire Pantheon. This skin does have some unique VFX and sound effects.
If you do want a cheaper version of the Pulsefire skin, then Fullmetal Pantheon is not a bad idea.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
If we had made a tier list before Pantheon’s rework, this would have been the worst one by far. But after the rework, this skin did get better quality visual changes. Even though this skin doesn’t have any unique VFX or sound effects, for 520RP, it looks extremely good. Especially during the “My Shop” period, this skin is dirt cheap. So, if you are running short on RP, this skin might not be a bad option.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
Ok, this one is a bit of a controversial one. Zombie Slayer Pantheon is an average skin. Not bad, however, but the concept does not fit in with Pantheon at all. Even though the design looks good, it doesn’t suit him. It has a unique VFX and sound effects. Overall, for 975RP, it’s decent skin, and if you are into the Zombie theme, then this skin might be for you.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
Perseus Pantheon is one of the coolest skins in terms of concept and design. It could have been an S-Tier skin if it had some unique VFX and sound effects. The attention to detail of this skin is just beyond incredible. First, he is wielding Poseidon’s spear and Medusa’s shield. Then, if that wasn’t cool enough, he is wearing not only Ares’s helmet but also the boot of Hermes.
If this skin was released nowadays with some VFX and some extra animations, it would have been the best skin for Pantheon. Overall, if you are into Greek Mythology or a fan of the popular roguelike Hades, then you should check this skin out.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
When Ashen Knight Pantheon was originally leaked, people were very excited. It ultimately became one of the most hyped-up skin. But when it dropped in PBE, it failed to meet expectations. The skin got many things right. First of all, the splash art looks incredible. The sound effects and VFX are extraordinary. The wings that come out when recalling and ulting look so gorgeous.
All these reasons might make it somewhat worth it. But the character model just looks bad. The abilities of animations and particles look mediocre. And they are charging way too much for this skin. It would have been fine if this was an epic skin (1350RP). But as a mythic skin, it’s not worth it if you don’t own it already.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
Baker Pantheon is the silliest yet unique skin in League of Legends. Even though it doesn’t fit Pantheon’s warrior style, it still manages to be one of the best skins for Pantheon. This skin was exceptionally well made. Firstly, Pantheon’s shield is a bread shield, and for his spear, he is wielding a butter knife. His E blows pie chunks all over the place. Also, Pantheon looks good in a chef costume. Overall, this skin is well made for 975RP.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
Ok, this one is more of a personal opinion, but Ruined Pantheon looks really good. This skin has some cool features. The aesthetic is just amazing. The eerie sound it makes when you ult is just cool sounding. The animations and sound design are also incredible. Also, the lore of this skin is fascinating as well, even though the Ruination event was a mess. Although Pantheon has better skins for the same price, Ruined Pantheon is one of the better skins the Sentinels of Light event had to offer.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
If you ever want to play as a futuristic robotic cyborg, then Pulsefire Pantheon is for you. This skin made Fullmetal Pantheon completely obsolete to play as. In terms of VFX, sound effects, and animations, Pulsefire Pantheon has it all. It even has a loading bar when you Q. Overall, this skin is one of the best in terms of animations.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
Glaive Warrior Pantheon is inspired by the Dacian knight. And it stays true to the Pantheon design and fantasy. The shield of this skin looks incredible. The helmet looks badass. Overall, this is the best skin for 975RP. This skin does include some particle effects here and there. But overall, it stays true to its default roots. And you are getting all of these for a very cheap price.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
Prestige Ascended Pantheon is one of the best prestige skins of all time. Before this, prestige skins were just a yellow version of their original counterpart. But this skin set a new standard.
This skin just turns Pantheon into the ultimate Greek warrior. With new VFX, sound effects, voice filters, and animations, this could have been the best Pantheon skin of all time. But this skin is extremely rare since it’s a prestige skin.
One way you can get them is by getting all of the skins in the game, and then if you reroll some shards, you have a chance to get this skin. Or you have to wait for it in the Mythic Shop rotation, which is very inconsistent. But if you ever find this in the rotation, you don’t have a Pantheon skin, and you can afford it, then you should get this skin.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
Dragonslayer Pantheon is the best skin for Pantheon. And everyone agrees with that statement. In this skin, Pantheon is a full-on dragon knight. Using Pantheon’s E spreads fire from the said eye. When you recall or use your ult, you gain a full pair of dragon wings. And even the VFX in this skin looks so cool. Moreover, this skin even has some extra voiceover and quotes. Riot has done an amazing job making this skin. So if Pantheon ever gets a legendary skin, then we can expect that skin to be far superior.

]]>The post Best Illaoi Skins in LoL appeared first on GameRiv.
]]>Illaoi, The Kraken Priestess, was released in 2015. And when she was released, the community loved not only her design but also her gameplay. She had a unique design and lore compared to other human champions of that time. Moreover, her gameplay was impressive as she had to micro-manage her tentacles.
When she was released, she was considerably strong as well. However, as Riot added newer and newer seasons to League of Legends, she was also phased out from the meta. But in the latest season, Riot added new tank items. All of the additional tank items and some reworked tank items were over-tuned. So, most tanks and juggernauts found their place in the meta again, including Illaoi.
Moreover, Illaoi is also prevalent outside of League of Legends as well. Riot Forge added her as one of the main playable characters in Ruined King: A League of Legends Story. She was also confirmed to be one of the playable fighters of Riot’s upcoming fighting game Project: L.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
Void Bringer Illaoi is the first skin released for Illaoi and the weakest skin in her arsenal. The positives of this skin are the concept itself and how her weapon looks. But compared with all the newer Illaoi skin, it isn’t good. The VFX and the recall animations are the worst offenders of this skin. Moreover, there are no chromas for this skin, which is also a letdown.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
Like Void Bringer Illaoi, Resistance Illaoi also has a good concept, and the weapon looks fantastic. However, unlike Void Bringer Illaoi, Resistance Illaoi does other parts of the skins correctly. For example, Riot did the VFX and the SFX tremendously well. And at the time of this skin’s release, it was the best Illaoi skin. But unfortunately, Riot released many new Illaoi skins with better quality afterward. Because of it, Resistance Illaoi can’t be higher on the list.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
Likewise to Resistance Illaoi, when Cosmic Evoker Illaoi was released, it was the best skin Illaoi had to offer. This skin provides everything you want of Illaoi. This skin offers impressive visuals, particles, and animations. Moreover, the quality of the chromas is also outstanding. And if you are into space-themed skins, Space Evoker Illaoi is the skin for you.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
Snow Moon Illaoi is the newest Illaoi skin released for League of Legends. Furthermore, it is the best skin released for Illaoi. The splash art is the best splash art Irelia has to offer. The SFX looks incredible. And the VFX is outstanding. Riot Games truly outdid themselves with Snow Moon Illaoi. And if you don’t like space-theme, then Snow Moon Illaoi is for you.

]]>The post Top 4 Best Aurelion Sol Skins in League of Legends appeared first on GameRiv.
]]>Aurelion Sol, The Star Forger, was released in League of Legends in 2016. He is the first proper celestial dragon character released in the game. Although players loved Aurelion Sol’s design, they did not like his kit or how he played.
His main gameplay gimmick revolved around his rotating stars. While Aurelion Sol was very unpopular, many players started to learn him and also dominated him. Around the same time, Riot nerfed him from a battle mage to a burst mage. This change ultimately led to Aurelion Sol’s downfall.
After that, barely anybody touched Aurelion Sol to the point where he had the lowest pick rate in the entire game. Because of this, Riot gave ASol a CGU or Comprehensive Gameplay Update earlier this year.
With it, they can fully overhaul a champion’s kit without touching their visuals. Overall, Aurelion Sol’s rework was a success. So, if you want to start playing Aurelion Sol and want some cool skins, here are all of them ranked from worst to best.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
Ashen Lord Aurelion Sol is the launch skin released for ASol. Moreover, this skin is a part of the Infernal skin line. But unfortunately, the Infernal skin line is very bare bones and disappointing skin line. And Ashen Lord Aurelion Sol is no different. This skin reimagines Aurelion Sol as a volcanic dragon, and compared to the upcoming skin, Ashen Lord Aurelion Sol is very disappointing. Furthermore, this skin does not have any chromas.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
Mecha Aurelion Sol is one of the game’s best futuristic or robotic skins. Additionally, this skin reimagines ASol as a battle mothership. Moreover, this skin also features a mechanical voice filter, similar to other Mecha skins. The model is the main highlight of the skin as it is the cleanest one for Aurelion Sol.
Inkshadow Aurelion Sol is the newest and the first skin that he received after his CGU. And due to it, it has the highest quality of them all. In terms of VFX, it’s unmatched. And for many people, Inkshadow is the best Aurelion Sol skin. But this skin also has massive visibility issues. Moreover, all the chromas look the same.
Besides the minor inconveniences, this skin is amazing. And if you don’t own any Aurelion Sol skins, you should look into Inkshadow.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
Storm Dragon Aurelion Sol is the best ASol skin not only for what it offers in-game but also for its history. Initially, a dragon champion named Ao Shin was supposed to be released in League of Legends. He was supposed to be a storm dragon. He was later scrapped and re-purposed as Aurelion Sol. And Storm Dragon Aurelion Sol is a homage to that skin.
Even the skin’s bio refers to Aurelion Sol as Ao Shin, the same name as the scrapped champion. Moreover, the skin design is the most incredible for Aurelion Sol. Though the VFX requires much to be desired, it is well-executed skin. Additionally, if this skin were a legendary skin with different voice lines, it would have been one of the best skins released in League of Legends. And if you are going to main Aurelion Sol in any way, then Storm Dragon Aurelion Sol is a must-have skin for you.

]]>The post 13 Best Jarvan IV Skins in League of Legends appeared first on GameRiv.
]]>Jarvan IV, The Exemplar of Damacia, was released in 2011. He is the current king of Damacia. Moreover, he is an exceptional fighter, trained by Xin Zhao. Being raised with his nation’s greatest virtue, Jarvan IV inspires his troops with fearsome courage and selfless determination.
In-game, Jarvan IV is a champion mainly played in the jungle. Though he is a bruiser, his playstyle is classified as a diver. Additionally, he is a very reliable and consistent champion. Because of that, he can be played in almost every meta.
Furthermore, Jarvan is a very versatile champion and can build nearly every item in the game. Depending on the situation, you turn him into a bruiser, tank, hyper-carry, and even support. For that reason, in high elo and at the hands of a veteran, Jarvan IV is powerful.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
Fnatic Jarvan IV commemorates Cyanide’s winning performance during the 2011 World Championship. Besides giving Jarvan more Fnatic colours, this skin doesn’t add anything new. It doesn’t feature either additional VFX or animation.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
Darkforge Jarvan IV has a similar problem as Fnatic Jarvan IV, which is that it doesn’t offer anything. It doesn’t provide additional VFX, SFX or even animations. Furthermore, Darkforge Jarvan IV is more expensive than some of his other skins. Because of this, Darkforge Jarvan IV is not a good skin to buy currently.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
Jarvan IV had two launch skins. One of these launch skins is Dragonslayer Jarvan IV. Though conceptually, this skin might have been incredible as there are other far superior Dragonslayer skins in League of Legends. But this skin fails at execution. There are no VFX or SFX with this skin. Furthermore, it is the expensive launch skin released for Jarvan IV.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
Commando Jarvan IV is the other launch skin for Jarvan IV. This skin shares the same issue as Dragonslayer Jarvan IV, like not having additional SFX, VFX, etc. However, it is the cheapest Jarvan IV skin in the game. Because of that, Commando Jarvan IV is higher on the list.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
Victorious Jarvan IV is the first Victorious skin released for League of Legends. And to earn this skin, players had to earn Gold or higher in season 1. Since very few players were playing the game back then, Victorious Jarvan IV is very rare. And because of the scarcity factor, it is higher on the list.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
Warring Kingdoms Jarvan IV is the first epic skin released for Jarvan IV. However, this skin has no animations, although the VFX are amazing. Moreover, the chroma is outstanding itself. But because of the lack of features, Warring Kingdoms Jarvan IV is lower on the list.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
Hextech Jarvan IV is a skin exclusive to the Mythic Shops. This skin boasts high-quality recall and particle effects. However, this skin costs 100 Mythic Essence. And since there are other high-quality skins to spend Mythic Essence on, Hextech Jarvan IV is not worth it. Moreover, there are higher skins on the list, which just cost RP and, indirectly, are cheaper.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
From here on, there are no terrible Jarvan skins. Lunar Beast Jarvan IV is an incredible skin. Additionally, It boasts impressive particles and an excellent model. However, Lunar Beast Jarvan IV is a legacy skin. Meaning you cannot buy it whenever you want.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
Dark Star Jarvan IV is conceptually one of the most unique Jarvan skins in the game. It hails from the Dark Star skin line. Dark Star Jarvan IV reimagines him as a corrupted celestial being. Furthermore, this skin gives him really good particles, too much in fact. If you do like the cosmic theme, then Dark Star Jarvan IV is for you.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
Pool Party Jarvan IV is more of a relaxing skin for him. Moreover, it is one of the popular skins for the champion. Additionally, Jarvan’s weapon is replaced with a beach umbrella. And the particles are also very clean. Overall, if you want to buy a Jarvan skin right now, Pool Party Jarvan IV is for you.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
Nightbringer Jarvan IV is his newest skin. And in terms of effects and visual, it’s his best one. Moreover, the audio filter is also the icing on the cake. However, the outdated model really holds the skin back. But besides that, if you like chromas, this skin also features of the best chromas out of any any Jarvan IV skin. Overall, it is an amazing skin. And if Jarvan IV ever receives an ASU or a visual rework, this skin has the potential to be his best skin.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
SSG Jarvan IV commemorates Ambition’s winning performance during the 2017 World Championship.
Although this skin is becoming 5 years old, it is still one of the best skin Jarvan has to offer. SSG Jarvan has the smoothest animation and effects. In a game like League of Legends, where visual clarity is essential, this skin does everything correctly. However, SSG Jarvan is a legacy skin. Moreover, Riot made another Jarvan skin which is also on par, if not better than SSG Jarvan IV.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
Worlds 2021 Jarvan IV is an upgraded version of SSG Jarvan. The particles are similar but have more details. Moreover, the model is superb and very highly detailed. The shoulder pad and the spear have elder dragon details on them. The splash art is majestic. No wonder why fans prefer Worlds 2021 Jarvan IV skin over every other Jarvan IV skin.
The post 13 Best Jarvan IV Skins in League of Legends appeared first on GameRiv.
]]>The post All Legendary Skins in League of Legends appeared first on GameRiv.
]]>Since League of Legends was released more than a decade ago, it has so many unique skins. Moreover, these skins are divided into different categories depending on their quality and what they provide. And the second most sought-after tier skins are the legendary skins.
Legendary skins are very similar to ultimate skins. Just like ultimate skins, legendary skins also completely overhaul a champion’s visual to the point where they are sometimes unrecognizable. However, the only difference between them is that ultimate skins provide unique gimmicks, except for Soul Fighter Samira, which is a completely different story.
Initially, Riot Games first introduced legendary skins in League of Legends with the Gentleman Cho’Gath skin back in 2010. Since then, legendary skins have improved to the point where sometimes they rival even the ultimate skins. With that said, here’s every legendary skin in League of Legends up to this point.
If you want to buy a Legendary skin in League of Legends, you will have to spend 1820 RP, and that’s about $15 for one skin.
Compared to the prior season, in 2023, we got 10 different skins. Here’s all of them,
Winterblessed Senna is the last legendary skin that we received in 2023. This takes place in the Winterblessed universe that debuted the year prior.
As for quality, the Winterblessed Senna is well-made. Even though the visual effects are gorgeous, there are no visual clutters. The animations are also fluent and smooth. Therefore, if you are looking for a Senna skin, you should consider Winterblessed Senna.
Heartsteel Kayn is the second legendary skin for Kayn. And it is unique compared to his previous legendary Odyssey Kayn. Moreover, instead of Rhaast being a completely different entity from Heartsteel Kayn, Rhaast is only his alter ego. That’s why you even hear him when you are in Shadow Assassin form. And the maniacal voice is just amazing.
If you don’t own Odyssey Kayn already, you should look at Heartsteel as well.
While everyone thought we were getting Coven Syndra, Riot surprised everyone by releasing Coven Nami. But even so, being Nami’s first legendary, this is an amazing skin.
This skin makes turns Nami into a complete villain and changes her fishtail into tentacles. The best part is that the secret animation references the Squidward dance from Spongebob. If you are a Support main, then this is one of the must-have skins.
Immortal Journey Soraka is Soraka’s second unique legendary skin if you count Dawnbringer and Nightbringer as the same skin. And people have mixed feelings about this skin. Firstly, the overall animations and vibe the skin gives is sub par compared to the previous Soraka legendaries, Dawnbringer and Nightbringer. But, if you take a look at the VFX, you can see how much Riot has improved its production since the release of her previous legendary skins.
Overall, if you already own either the Dawnbringer or Nightbringer skins, then Immortal Journey Soraka is not worth it whatsoever. However, if you don’t own them already, then the Immortal Journey is a good option.
Similar to the prior season’s summer event, in season 13 we also got two high rarity skins as well. But one of them was an ultimate skin, and the other one was the legendary Soul Fighter Viego.
This is one of the best legendary skins we have received in League of Legends thus far. The sheer quality of this skin is top-notch. This legendary skin was way better than the ultimate skin that they released 2 weeks earlier, Soul Fighter Samira. The VFX, the animations, the sound, everything is amazing.
Inkshadow Master Yi is the second legendary skin released for him. Released during the MSI 2023 event, the color scheme looks similar to his first legendary skin Project: Yi. However, due to age, Inkshadow Master Yi has far more superior skin compared to his previous one.
Initially showcased in the season 13 dev log, Faerie Queen Karma was released just around the right time. During that time, enchanters started getting picked more and more in solo queues, compared to previous patches.
While it may be controversial, Faerie Queen Karma doesn’t seem unique enough. It is not a bad skin, all things considered, but besides the animations and VFX, it is identical to one of her other epic skins. Even so, Faerie Queen Karma is still her best skin.
Not only was Broken Covenant the first original skin line of the year, but it was also Riven’s first legendary skin. In terms of aesthetics and vibe, Broken Covenant Riven is one of the nicest skins to play with. Moreover, even with the effects, the gameplay clarity was still decent. If you are still one of the few remaining Riven mains, then you need to try out this skin.
The first legendary skin we received in 2023 was Mythmaker Irelia. And initially, this skin was horrible due to one major bug. And that was, all of her animation was slowed, including her auto attacks. Thus, due to it, players couldn’t even get their last hit properly.
Although, after it was fixed, it is now a decent skin.
Even though we barely received any content within the game, we still got around 147 skins. Among them, only 8 of them were legendary. Here are all of them:
Winterblessed Diana is not only Diana’s first legendary skin, but also one of the best winter-themed skins in general in League of Legends.
Winterlbessed Diana offers new animations, effects, and even a new gimmick. After you get a penta kill, the map transforms into the winter Summoner’s Rift. This begs the question of why Riot doesn’t bring it back into the core game. I guess we will never know.
Out of nowhere, the Space Groove skins returned at the end of 2022. Space Groove Teemo was released around that point. Even though the OG players will disagree, Space Groove Teemo is the best skin in his arsenal by far.
Empyrean Pyke is the second legendary skin for Pyke, but it is not even close to becoming the best Pyke skin. Unsurprisingly, the best Pyke skin in the game is the mythic Ashen Knight Pyke. But it is still Pyke’s second-best skin and his best easy-to-access skin.
The SFX and the new voice over is top-notch. Moreover, each kill you get with your ultimate triggers unique music. If you get a penta kill, the Fire for the Fuse music by Jackson Wang will play, which is a nice touch.
After the long-awaited return of one of the beloved League of Legends skin lines, Spirit Blossom, we got the second legendary skin from this universe, Spirit Blossom Sett.
The lore is not too different from his cannon one. He is part of the mixed race, and now he is seeking his father for retribution. Even though the VFX of this skin is over the top, the quality just makes up for it.
Released 2 weeks after Star Guardian Kai’Sa, Star Guardian Akali is the second legendary skin that we received during the Star Guardian 2022 event. For being a popular champion, Riot took a long time to release Akali’s first legendary skin. And for being her first legendary skin, it doesn’t miss any mark.
Overall, if you main Akali, then this needs to be your main skin. Furthermore, lore-wise, this skin is connected to the next skin we will talk about, Star Guardian Kai’Sa.
Star Guardian Kai’Sa is the first legendary skin released during the Star Guardian 2022 event. While the event itself was extremely mediocre, the skins were top-notch. Likewise, Star Guardian Kai’Sa is a really good cosmetic.
For being Kai’Sa’s first legendary skin, it is impressively well made. And lore-wise, it is connected to Star Guardian Akali. Moreover, similarly to Akali, if you main Kai’Sa then Star Guardian is the best skin for you.
High Noon Leona is technically Leona’s third legendary skin. But if you count Lunar and Solar Eclipse as one skin, then High Noon is the second legendary skin for Leona.
In terms of quality, it depends from player to player. For some, they might prefer the Eclipse skins, and others will love the newer High Noon Leona. Overall, it is a solid addition.
Solar Eclipse Sivir is the newest legendary edition to the Solar Eclipse line-up. Around this time around, they released some of the best Eclipse skins that we have seen up to date. Some of them include Sun Eater Kayle, Solar Eclipse Sejuani, Lunar Eclipse Aatrox, etc.
As for the Solar Eclipse Sivir skin, it is by far the best Sivir skin in the game. Especially thanks to the new fluent animation, it makes hitting your opponents more satisfying.
For being such an old and highly picked champion, surprisingly, Miss Fortune didn’t have a legendary skin before Battle Bunny. However, she did have a legendary skin in the form of Gun Goddess Miss Fortune.
With that said, Battle Bunny Miss Fortune is one of her best skins, right after the ultimate one.
Porcelain Ezreal’s skin was done in collaboration with famous artist Jay Chou. Porcelain Protector Ezreal’s dance includes snippets of Jay Chou’s song “Blue and White Porcelain.” Besides, his aminations also resemble the Year of the Tiger.
11 Legendary skins were released in League of Legends 2021. Here are all the Legendary skins released in LoL 2021:
Debonair Zed is part of the fan-voted Debonair 2.0 skin line. Debonair Zed is going to make its debut in the Summoner’s Rift along with Master Yi, Malzahar, Leona, Leblanc, Draven, and Brand in the last event of 2021, the Debonair event.
Debonair Zed has to have the coolest drip out of any of his past skins. Moreover, his shadow animations also look and feel much better than his other skins.
Truth Dragon Yasuo is another legendary skin released as a part of the Dragonmancer 2021 skin line. While Dream Dragon Yasuo has a purple skin tone, Truth Dragon Yasuo has a yellow hue.
One thing that gives Truth Dragon Yasuo a slight advantage over Dream Dragon Yasuo is that when pressing his ultimate, Truth Dragon Yasuo straight up turns into Super Saiyan Goku. And just for that one reason, you should choose Truth Dragon Yasuo over Dream Dragon Yasuo.
Dream Dragon Yasuo is part of the popular Dragonmancer skin line. And in that event, he not only had one but two legendary skins. Dream Dragon Yasuo is full of purple, and if purple is your color, this is just the right skin for you.
Based on his splash art, he seems to have both Dawnbringer and Nightbringer swords. However, Riot confirmed that he joined Dawnbringer which is the opposite of his brother, Yasuo, who has the Nightbringer skin.
Skin Bio:
“Prophecy dictates that the gods will destroy each other, ushering in the end of creation itself- but Yone is determined to defy fate. A half-mortal, half-god born of the clash between chaos and order, Yone wields the power of both night and dawn. He must rally his brethren, bring peace to the gods… or they will all perish.”
Evelynn has some of the hottest skins in League of Legends, and this Coven Evelynn skin raises the bar to a whole new level. Both her base and demon look utterly gorgeous with those dragon-shaped creatures on her back.
Sentinel Graves was part of the second part of the Sentinels of Light event, where he joined the crew to help take down Viego, The Ruined King. Sentinel Graves has a similar look and feel to Sentinel Vayne.
Sentinel Graves has two slightly different VFX kits. In the early game, the Black Mist is everywhere and can be seen around his Sentinel of Light energy. However, after reaching level 11, the Black Mist disappears, and his Light shines brightly, uncorrupted.
Sentinel Vayne was part of the biggest event of the year, the Sentinels of Light 2021 event. Sentinel Vayne has her iconic red glasses combined with a Sentinel-themed white cloak, and her animations feel much smoother as well. Many believe it is way better than Project Vayne and one of the best Vayne skins in League of Legends.
PROJECT Mordekaiser has a red and silver hue that perfectly matches Mordekaiser’s model. For this Mordekaiser’s legendary skin, Riot went to a whole new level as based on animation and look PROJECT Mordekaiser has to have the best ultimate among any other legendary skins in League of Legends. And according to many, this might also be one of the best Mordekaiser skins as well.
Both the PROJECT Mordekaiser and Renekton skin were released on the same day and patch during the PROJECT 2021 event.
While PROJECT Mordekaiser’s skin has a silver and red hue, PROJECT Renekton’s skin tone is silver and orange. Just from the splash art alone, it seems Renekton is a cyborg creature who is ready to destroy all of his enemies.
The waking animation on this skin feels different than any other Renekton skin. Moreover, in-game, his W animation also looks different. But overall, this is one of the best Renekton skins, for sure.
Space Groove Blitz & Crank was released during the Space Groove event. And here’s the skin bio:
“Blitz and Crank are Cat Planet’s fiercest warriors and work together seamlessly (mostly) to pilot their mech, Blitzcrank. While Crank believes that he can overcome his lack of rhythm with the help of his exuberant copilot, Blitz is… well… he’s busy dancing to his own beat. Together, they plan to take over Dog Planet and claim its sunbeams for themselves.”
Battle Academia Caitlyn skin bio:
“A feared and respected second year, head of the Luminary Club, and class president of Labrys God-Weapon Academy. Caitlyn enrolled herself in the famously troubled school specifically to whip the delinquents there into prime fighting shape, hoping to one day become the greatest battlefield general in history. With her perfect record, she’s not too far off.”

]]>The post 14 Best Alistar Skins in League of Legends appeared first on GameRiv.
]]>Alistar, the Minotaur, was released in 2009. Not only was he one of the first support champions released, but he was also one of the first initial champions of League of Legends. He is considered an engage champion, similar to Leona, Nautilus, etc.
But even after Leona, Alistar is considered a strong support pick for solo queue. The primary reason is Alistar’s survivability. Thanks to his passive and ultimate, it’s tough to kill Allister. Alistar’s passive-Triumphant Roar generates a stack for each displacement and stun. At 7 stacks, Alistar and his nearby ally gain heal. Alister’s R-Unbreakable Will cleanses him of all CC. Moreover, once activated, Alister gains reduced incoming damage for the next 7 seconds.
Now we’ll rank each of the Alistar skins released in League of Legends thus far. We will rate them by putting them from worst to best.
Black Alistar is the rarest skin in League of Legends. The only way to buy this skin legitimately is via purchasing the Digital Collector’s Edition of League of Legends back in 2009. Because of this, very few people legitimately own this skin. However, it still doesn’t excuse the fact that this skin is one of the ugliest in terms of both splash art and in-game models. Moreover, it doesn’t include any VFX or additional effects.
Longhorn Alistar is a part of the beloved High Noon skin line. And even though the splash art looks cool. However, this skin is the disgusting-looking Alistar skin in-game. The model looks horrible. Moreover, it doesn’t include any VFX or additional effects.
Matador Alistar is the first standard or 975RP skin released for Alistar. This skin gives Alistar stylish attire and makes him a matador. Unfortunately, this skin does not include any VFX or effects and is more expensive than other better Alistar skins.
Golden Alistar is one of the cheapest skins in League of Legends, costing only 390RP. 2 other skins cost similarly, Assassin Master Yi and White Mage Veigar. Besides that, this skin is a glorified chroma more than anything. Even though this skin looks good, it doesn’t include any VFX or other additional effects.
Just like Black Alistar, Unchained Alistar is also a rare unobtainable skin. But unlike Black Alistar, Unchained Alistar was a free skin. The way to earn this skin was by subscribing to Riot Game’s official YouTube channel from September 23, 2011, to August 1, 2018. Currently, there isn’t any way to earn this skin legitimately. As for the skin itself, it looks nice. Both splash art and in-game models are well-made. Sadly, this skin does not have any VFX or sound effects.
Infernal Alistar reimagines Alistar as a devilish fire juggernaut. Both the skin and splash art look exceptional. Unfortunately, all the fantasies of being a fire juggernaut end when the players see that Infernal Alistar does not include any special VFX. A new particle effect for Q-Pulverize is the only additional effect on the skin.
Marauder Alistar is a part of the Marauder skin line. Unfortunately, the Marauder skinline is one of the most forgettable in League of Legends. However, one of the only exceptions is Marauder Alistar. This skin gives Alistar cool and shiny armor. The only downside of this skin is that it doesn’t have any VFX or effects. But for 750 RP, you can’t complain.
During certain events, Riot releases new skins to commemorate said events. And one of those events is the FIFA World Cup. Once every 4 years, there is a World Cup for soccer. And one of the skins that Riot released to celebrate this event is Sweeper Alistar. The skin itself and the splash art look excellent. Overall for 750 RP, this skin is worth it. However, this skin does not have any VFX or other effects.
Worlds is the most anticipated event of all of League of Legends. In this event, the best teams from around the world compete against each other. And for the winners of each Worlds tournament receive their in-game skin commemorating their win.
In 2015, SKT T1 won Worlds 2015 against KOO Tigers. And for their win, all of the players received their own skin. And one of those skins is SKT T1 Alistar. This skin commemorates Wolf’s winning performance as Alistar during the 2015 World Championship.
As for the skin itself, it looks clean. It also includes additional VFX and also has different recall animation. Unfortunately, Alistar’s dated models hold this skin down.
Conqueror Alistar is, by far, one of the best-looking Alistar skin. It was released by Riot to celebrate the 2019 Mid-Season Invitational in Asia. This skin comes with a unique VFX. Moreover, this skin also includes custom recall animation.
Hextech skin line used to be a well-known mythic skin line. But unfortunately, in season 12, Riot retired the Hextech skin line for a seasonal thematic skin line. As a result, a total of 19 Hextech skins were released for League of Legends, and one of those is Hextech Alistar.
Even though Alistar doesn’t have legendary skin, he has Hextech Alistar, a mythical skin. The recall animation of this skin and the VFX are gorgeous. But unfortunately, because of Alistar’s dated models, this skin cannot be rated higher. However, this skin could probably be one of Alistar’s best if Alistar receives an ASU.
Blackfrost Alistar is one of the coolest Alistar skins in the game. The skin turns Alistar into a minotaur-looking ice golem. This skin also includes six unique chromas. Moreover, this skin also comes with custom animations and VFX.
If you don’t enjoy Blackfrost Alistar, you can try out Lunar Beast Alistar. Lunar Beast Alistar is the most recent Alistar skin, released in 2021. It was released for Lunar New Year 2021. And since 2021 was the year of the ox, it was not surprising that Alistar received a Lunar skin. This skin includes seven different chromas and a unique recall animation. Moreover, this skin also has a custom VFX.
Moo Cow Alistar is by far the best Alistar skin. And the primary reason is the bell taunt. So whenever you try to use this skin and taunt, Alistar will play a bell. Moreover, it also includes a recall animation, which is incredibly cute. In addition, this skin also includes new particles for all of Alistar’s abilities. And the best part is it’s only 975 RP. So it is a must-buy for any Alistar main.

]]>The post 4 Best Samira Skins in League of Legends appeared first on GameRiv.
]]>Samira was released in League of Legends in 2020. She is an ADC who excels at both close-range and long-range fights. Design-wise, she is inspired by Dante from Devil May Cry. Additionally, their design is identical.
First of all, DMC is a game that is reliant on combos. Similarly, Samira’s gameplay is dependent on her getting combos. Samira’s kit is unique compared to other champions, as her ultimate is unusable when she first unlocks it. She can only use her ultimate when she gains an S-rank combo. Moreover, Samira’s ult is called Inferno Trigger, similar to the power Devil possesses in the DMC series, Devil Trigger.
While Samira might be a popular pick, she hasn’t received many new skins. So here, we will look at her skins to determine if they are worthy of your RP.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
Space Groove Samira is the second released skin for Samira. Moreover, it’s her weakest skin out of them all. While the particles look clean, unfortunately, the poor execution of the theme keeps it lower on the list. Since Samira’s main gimmick is that she is the most stylish league champion, Space Groove Samira does not increase the style points.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
PsyOps Samira was the first skin released for Samira. While Space Groove Samira has disappointed, PsyOps Samira still fulfilled the adrenaline-driven fantasy for the Samira mains.
Additionally, this skin hails from the PsyOps universe. While people have mixed opinions about the PsyOps skin line, there is no denying that Psyops Samira is one of the best skin released from that alternative universe. This skin features custom animations, added VFX, SFX, and some new additional voice lines. The weakest aspect of this skin is the poorly made chromas. Besides that, it’s well-made skin.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
High Noon Samira is the last epic Samira skin released in the game. Moreover, it’s the best one in terms of epic, as it hails some of the best themes and designs for Samira.
In the High Noon universe, Samira is a bounty hunter hunting for Tahm Kench. Additionally, with this skin, you feel like a badass, thanks to the fantastic particle effects for the abilities. The model is stunningly designed, and the animations are excellent. If you have a fantasy to become a daredevil and your main is Samira, this skin is a must-buy. Moreover, as stated before, High Noon Samira is the best epic Samira skin> And if you are on a budget, then this skin is for you.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
Soul Fighter Samira is the newest Samira skin released in League of Legends. Not only that, it also has the highest rarity in League of Legends, Ultimate.
In terms of what this skin offers, it offers the most out of every other Samira skin in the game. It has new animations, VFX, voiceover, etc, and the the combo bar has been redesigned. It would have been perfect if Soul Fighter Samira were a legendary skin.
However, even though this is the best Samira skin, the price is not worth it. As this is an ultimate rarity skin, it costs the most out of all other non-exclusive skins in the game. But doesn’t offer as much content as other ultimates. Furthermore, there are legendaries that offer more than Soul Fighter Samira.
If you don’t mind spending around 25$ for a skin, then Soul Fighter Samira is a viable option. If not, then I highly recommend you to check out High Noon Samira.

]]>The post 12 Best Draven Skins in League of Legends appeared first on GameRiv.
]]>Draven is a marksman champion released in League of Legends in 2012. Since then, he has been one of the game’s most unique and reliable ADC. Gameplay-wise, he is one of the most aggressive ADC. Moreover, he is one of the most prominent lane bullies because of his early raw damage. If he can buy Serrated Dirk during his first recall, Draven can solo his lane, even after getting ganked.
Also, Draven is one of the game’s most flexible ADC, as he has different build paths. He can choose between Lethal Tempo, Conqueror, and Hail of Blades and still carry the game very easily. There are some champions Draven struggles against. These champions include Varus, Caitlyn, Senna, Pantheon, etc.
Because of Draven’s popularity, he has a good number of skins. Let’s examine them and determine if they are worthy of your RP.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
Even though there isn’t a “bad” Draven skin, Beast Hunter Draven is the worst Draven skin out of them all. It takes inspiration from a very popular game, Monster Hunter. But visually, it’s unpleasant to look at, especially because of the orange mohawk.
Some of the redeeming qualities of this skin are its low price, well-designed VFX, and stunning splash art. Overall, there are skins that are better to buy than Beast Hunter Draven.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
Draven Draven is an April Fools skin released in 2016. Even though this skin is hilarious, it doesn’t offer anything more. It is Draven’s default skin with a bigger head. Additionally, if you like the default Draven, you should opt for Gladiator Draven.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
Even though Santa Draven might be a really good Christmas-themed skin, besides that, it’s boring. Moreover, Riot has started innovating League’s winter skins with the release of Winterblessed skins. Regardless, the best aspect of Santa Draven is its VFX and SFX, although its recall is underwhelming.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
Pool Party Draven is one of the most boring summer skins of League of Legends and one of the weaker Draven skins. Even though it was set out to capture the aesthetic of the summer season, Riot executed it very poorly. In-game, Draven is failing around his floaties as his axe, with very distracting VFX. The only redeeming quality of this skin is its splash art.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
Soul Reaver Draven was released in 2012. Furthermore, it was Draven’s launch skin. Although most OG players would say it is the best Draven skin in the game, by the current standards, it cannot keep up. Even though it boasts gorgeous splash art, SFX, and voice filters, unfortunately, this skin does not offer any unique animations or recall. But it does make up for it by having more unique voice lines.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
Ruined Draven is one of the best Ruination skins. Likewise, It does so many things correctly. They include new animations, sound effects, VFX, new voice filters, and even splash art. Additionally, The theme amplifies Draven’s original power fantasy as a lane villain. But unfortunately, his clunky model still holds this skin down. For edginess, superior skins are placed higher on this list.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
La Ilusión Draven is the newest Draven skin in the game. Therefore, this skin has some of the best in-game models, VFX and SFX, out of any Draven skins. Not only that, it also has good gameplay clarity. But when it comes to chroma, this skin leaves a lot to be desired. Moreover, the skins higher in the list have better quality than La Ilusión Draven. But still, it is a solid skin.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
Like Ruined Draven, Mecha Kingdoms Draven is one of the best futuristic skins in this game. Furthermore, it also offers the same unique features as the former. But unlike Ruined Draven, Mecha Kingdoms Draven has a far unique and stunning-looking model in the game. Moreover, the VFX and SFX on his axe synergize so well that it’s very satisfying to use.
So, if you like the futuristic aesthetic, and your main champion is Draven, you could pick Mecha Kingdoms Draven for 1350RP.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
Debonair Draven is the cleanest Draven skin out there. It has gorgeous VFX and SFX, but they don’t distract you from team fights. Furthermore, Debonair Draven is the only recognizable champion in the Debonair 2021 collection.
If you are looking for the cleanest yet most stylish Draven skin, then Debonair Draven is the skin for you.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
For many players, Gladiator Draven is the best Draven skin, and understandably so. It includes one of the best animations for Draven, even though it is a 975RP. Moreover, similarly to Ruined Draven, it amplifies the fantasy of Draven. But by current standards, it has not aged well. Additionally, when it comes to VFX and SFX, it’s unnoticeable. Regardless, it is still one of the must-own skins for a Draven main.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
When Primetime Draven was released, it became a fan-favorite skin for many people. Moreover, it competed directly against Gladiator Draven for the best Draven skin.
The aspect that makes Primetime Draven unique is its voice line. The voice line is amazing, so some people might mistakingly call it legendary skin. The weakest part of Primetime Draven is its animation, especially recall animation. But other than that, this skin is amazing.
Before we dive deeper into the skin, let us look at the skin’s features first.
Fright Night Draven is the newest released during the Halloween event in 2022. Additionally, this skin is inspired by Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th series.
Even though it offers almost the same as the other 1350RP skins, the unique aspect Fright Night Draven offers is Cel shading. It’s a technique in 3d animation where you can render a 3d object and illuminate it as a 2d model. Arc System Works is the most popular studio that perfected this technique, with their games Guilty Gear Xrd, Strive, Dragonball FighterZ, etc.
Moreover, the VFX and SFX are gorgeous. The only nitpick is that the animation still has much more to be desired. But overall, Fright Night Draven is the best Draven skin and the skin all Draven mains should own.
