A new type of Team Deathmatch is nearing its entry into Apex Legends. Instead of the traditional 6v6, you’ll face your enemies in a 12v12 format.

Respawn added one of the best game modes, Team Deathmatch, in Season 16. It was a much-requested LTM that the developers were confident enough to remove Arenas to make room for it within Mixtape.

As Apex Legends players were lacking a means to warm up, the TDM game mode became a popular way to practice. Moreover, it has also become a great playlist for new players and those who play the game casually.

Following the game mode’s immense popularity, the developers have decided to introduce a new version of the TDM called ‘Big Team Deathmatch’ that makes more sense than the traditional one. So, what is this Big Team Deathmatch?

A well-known data miner named AG420 has revealed the overview section of the Big Team Deathmatch, from which we can learn exactly what the new game mode is all about.

The only difference between the original TDM vs. Big TDM is that the Big Team Deathmatch will be played in a 12v12 setting instead of 6v6, meaning there’ll be more chaos. Everything else, such as the points system, care package drop, and healing system, remains the same.

When will Big Team Deathmatch release?

The Big Team Deathmatch will be released on July 23, 2024.
