Champions 2024 is VALORANT’s 4th major Esports event, to be held in Seoul, South Korea. Similar to previous years, Riot Games will release a bunch of physical goodies, free in-game skins, and a purchasable bundle to celebrate the event. These goodies and cosmetic items are usually popular among the community as they remind players of the beautiful memories that the entire event creates.

Among all the goodies and cosmetic items, the Champions bundles are the most sought-after reward players look forward to. These bundles usually contain a weapon skin and a melee skin. The 2021 bundle included a Vandal and melee, the 2022 bundle included a Phantom and melee, and the 2023 bundle, again, included a Vandal and melee. So, the predicted pattern did come true as the 2024 bundle will contain a Phantom skin alongside a melee.

Champions 2024 Skins Details

Previous leaks from various sources confirmed that the Champions 2024 bundle would include a Phantom skin and a sword. Fortunately, Riot Games just announced the Champions 2024 bundle and confirmed the leaks to be true.

The Champions 2024 bundle will include a Phantom skin and a Katana melee that resembles pretty much the Sovereign 2.0 sword with a few adjustments made. The color combination and design are similar to the 2023 Champions bundle that included the Vandal and Kunai.

According to a recent leak, the RGX 3.0 bundle is expected to include:

These rumors gained significant traction when renowned VALORANT leak source @ValorantUpdate shared cryptic information about the bundle on July 15, 2024. Sovereign 2.0 Skin Bundle Weapons

Sovereign is one of the most popular and well-received bundles in VALORANT. floxxayy previously confirmed that a Sovereign 2.0 bundle was in development. However, there were no pictures or videos of the bundle. However, Valorant Leaks& News recently revealed the bundle’s actual pictures with a video showcase.

The Sovereign 2.0 skin bundle will include Phantom, Odin, Judge, Frenzy, and a melee. The melee will be pretty similar to the previous Sovereign blade. The main difference between the Sovereign 2.0 blade and its predecessor is that it will be longer.

The Sovereign 2.0 bundle will have 4 levels of upgrades. The color variants for Sovereign 2.0 skins will be Gold, Silver, Green, and Red.

Sovereign 2.0 Bundle Price

Like its previous version, the Sovereign 2.0 bundle will be a Premium Edition bundle. So, expect to pay 7,100 VP for the entire bundle. If you wish to buy the skins separately, you’ll have to pay 1775 VP for each skin and 3550 VP for the melee. The VCT 2024 Masters Madrid came to an end with a spectacular grand final between Sentinels and Gen.G. More than a million people tuned in live to this match from all over the world to witness the two titans go against each other. Although Gen.G was the slightly favored team to win, Sentinels went away as the winner of VCT 2024’s first international LAN event, taking away the Masters trophy as well as 250,000 USD.

The final score between the two teams was 3-2 in favor of Sentinels. Being the upper-bracket team in the event, Gen.G had the first map ban advantage in the best-of-5 match format. The maps that were picked were Breeze, Bind, Ascent, Split, and Icebox. Here are overviews of all the maps that were played in the grand finals of the VCT 2024 Masters between Sentinels and Gen.G:

1st Match Overview: Breeze

Final Score : Gen.G 13 – Sentinels 8

The first half between Sentinels and Gen.G was very even. The half ended 7-5 in favor of Gen.G. Sentinels won the second pistol round as Attackers. They then drew level with Gen.G, bringing the score to 7-7. The two teams traded blows in the following two rounds. However, after the 8-8 score, Sentinels failed to keep up with their opposition, and Gen.G pretty convincingly finished the match with 13-8.

2nd Match Overview: Bind

Final Score: Sentinels 14 – Gen.G 12

Sentinels started on Bind by winning the pistol round. The first half was a back-and-forth battle between the two finalists, ending 6-6. The next pistol round went to Gen.G. Gen.G then maintained the lead until the final score of 9-6. The next round went to Sentinels, and the latter went to Gen.G, making the scoreline 10-7 in favor of the Korean roster. Sentinels then made a stunning comeback, winning five consecutive rounds to lead Gen.G by two rounds, with a score of 12-10. However, Gen.G remained strong and won the next two rounds, matching the score with Sentinels. Yet that was not enough to cause the Sentinels to lose their composure, as they triumphed in the two overtime rounds and clinched the match 14-12.

3rd Match Overview: Ascent

Final Score: Gen.G 13 – Sentinels 8

Sentinels carried their momentum from the last match into Ascent and took the first two rounds with ease. Gen.G won the next two rounds but lost the following three against Sentinels. With a 5-2 score, the North American team was rapidly pulling ahead of Gen.G. However, Gen.G prevented it from happening and tied the score at 6-6 with Sentinels in the first half. After switching sides, Gen.G won the next four rounds as Attackers, restoring a 10-6 lead. Although Sentinels managed to take the next two rounds, they couldn’t make the comeback they were looking for, and the match finished with a 13-8 scoreline in favor of Gen.G.

4th Match Overview: Split

Final Score: Sentinels 13 – Gen.G 10

Unlike the other three maps, Sentinels had a four-round lead against Gen.G in the first half of Split. The North American team ended the first half against Gen.G with an 8-4 score. After switching sides, Gen.G won the next two rounds as the Defenders, and Sentinels seized the following two rounds back from the Korean team. The next two rounds were again won by Gen.G, cutting Sentinels’ lead by two rounds. The next round, again, went to Sentinels, leaving the score at 11-8. In the next round, Gen.G made a flawless retake into the A site and won their ninth round in Split. Gen.G also won the next round, as Lakia made a spectacular 1v2 clutch against Sentinels and defused the Spike. The next two rounds were close, but Sentinels came out strong and won both, resulting in a final score of 13-10 in favor of the North American team.

Decider Match Overview: Icebox

Final Score: Sentinels 13 – Gen.G 6

Sentinels won the first two rounds of Icebox, but Gen.G won the last three rounds, leaving Sentinels a 4-3 lead. Gen.G attempted to equalize the score but ultimately lost a two-round lead to Sentinels in the first half. Sentinels kept their calm and won the following two rounds as Attackers to widen the lead. Gen.G was slipping behind Sentinels with a score of 5-9. However, they were able to pull off an impressive retake against Sentinels in the following round, bringing the score to 6-9. Unfortunately, that was it for Gen.G as Sentinels continued their dominance in the rest of the match and convincingly finished it 13-6.

As promised, Riot Games revealed all of Clove’s abilities during the VCT 2024 Masters Madrid. Based on what we can see right now, Clove might be the strongest Agent to be released in VALORANT.

• Pick-Me-Up (C): Clove absorbs the life energy of a fallen enemy, granting them a moment of increased agility and health.

• Meddle (Q): Clove focuses a fragment of immortality essence that, once thrown, deteriorates the life essence of those hit by the blast.

• Ruse (E): Clove’s mind projects a view of the battlefield from above. Using their essence, they manifest vision-obscuring clouds that change the flow of battle, even in death.

• Not Dead Yet (X): Clove defies death by activating their immortality essence. To stabilize their form, they must remove the life energy of an opponent.

Riot Games will reveal Clove on the day of the VCT 2024 Masters Grand Final, which will be live on March 24, 2024. The developers will potentially disclose Clove’s release date on the same day as well.

However, as VALORANT fans, we would love to know the information beforehand. And thanks to previous Agent and map releases, we can accurately predict the information even before Riot Games reveals that to us.

Remember Fade? She was revealed during the 2022 VCT Masters Reykjavík Grand Final. And just 3 days later, on April 27, 2022, Riot Games released her into the game.

Similarly, the Sunset map was revealed during the VCT 2023 Champions on August 26, 2023. And Riot Games released the map 3 days later, on August 29, 2023.

So, it appears that Fade and Sunset were released as soon as the next patch day arrived, meaning the next Tuesday from the reveal date. And there’s very little chance that Riot Games won’t follow a similar pattern with Clove

So, assuming everything goes as anticipated, Riot Games will release Clove on March 26, 2024 (Patch 8.06) the following Tuesday after the reveal date.

VALORANT’s 25th Agent’s Name is Clove

In the practice range, there is an Email from Deadlock. In the Email, Deadlock mentions Agent 25 as their “new friend.” In the same Email, Deadlock addresses the new character as “they.” However, players whose game language is in German can find the same Email that mentions the person as “Clove” instead of they. So, regardless of whether it was intentional or a mistake, we now know that Agent 25’s name is Clove.

Clove Might be Neon’s Age or Younger!

In the current PBE 8.04 game files, there is evidence that suggests Clove is really young. The two voice lines from Cypher and Phoenix, which mention Clove as “our little troublemaker” and “the new kid,” prove that Clove might be the same age as Neon, or possibly, younger.

Cypher: “I keep picturing our newest little troublemaker giving Hourglass the slip, leaving behind an empty bodybag.*laughs* Ah… Priceless.”

Phoenix: “Hey fam, imagine when me and the new kid go on the same mission. Other team is gonna be stressing with both of us coming back to life.”

Clove is a Controller Agent

Well, it is not a surprise that Agent 25 is a Controller Agent. All of us have known this for a while now. However, in the recent “State of the Agents” article, John Goscicki, the Agent lead of VALORANT, confirmed that Clove will be a Controller Agent.

Clove’s Abilities

• Pick Me Up (C): Upon activation, absorbs vital energy from defeated or harmed enemies by Clove, gaining acceleration and temporary health points.
  • 1 Charge
• Meddle (Q): Equipped with a fragment of immortal essence. Pressing [Fire], throws it, and after a brief delay, the fragment explodes, applying the “corrosion” effect for a short period to all targets within range.
  • 1 Charge
• Ruse (E): Equipped with the battlefield map. Pressing [Fire], choose the smoke deployment position and pressing [Secondary Fire] to confirm, creates dense fog that obstructs vision at a specific location. Clove can use this ability even after dying.
  • 2 Charges

• Butterfly (X): After dying, activate this ability to resurrect. After resurrecting, Clove must get a kill or assist within a limited time; otherwise will be killed again. Activating again can cancel the ability.
  • 7 Ultimate Points

Clove’s Look and Origin Country

In a recent Tweet, ChowZ_Channel revealed some vital information regarding Clove’s look and origin.

Clove’s origin country will be Scotland. This fact was also confirmed in the existing Email between Deadlock and Brimstone, which can be found in the game files. ChowZ also confirmed it further.

Clove’s theme colors will be pink and purple. In the game, the character will wear a pink jacket. The character also appears to be really stylish, which is confirmed by Killjoy’s voice line in the game.

When will Riot Reveal Clove?

As is tradition, VALORANT releases a new skin bundle with every patch. Just recently, the developers released MK.VII Liberty into the game. Just when it was about to get old, yet another bundle is replacing the hype.

With the new Act coming, VALORANT will release a bunch of new cosmetic items through Battle Pass and stand-alone skin bundles. Riot Games has already revealed the Primordium bundle that is about to come with the Act launch.

However, just now, we received a glimpse of another skin bundle that may come with Episode 8 Act 2 as well. According to ValorLeaks, the skin bundle is called Fortune’s Hand.

For now, the leaker has only revealed the attached image for the bundle. Other information, such as the bundle’s price, its edition, and release date, is still unknown. Nonetheless, based on the look of the bundle, we feel that it will be a Select edition bundle.

Don’t be fooled by its edition, though. The golden and black color combination with the touch of white accent is already giving the skin a glorious vibe. The melee skin is also something to look for. Riot has recently announced the host for the VALORANT Champions 2024. This year, the honor will be received by Seoul, South Korea. This will be the first time the Champions event will be held in the Pacific region.
