There are a lot of new and old characters coming in the upcoming patches of Genshin Impact. Here is the list of characters you can hope to see!
Fontaine region is going strong, and in every patch, we are getting a new character in the roster. The upcoming character roster for versions 4.4 to 4.8 is jam-packed, and I will cover everything the leakers have found out and some educated guesses based on the past reruns and banner patterns used by Hoyoverse.

Please keep in mind that these are all just rumors and my assumptions. There hasn’t been any update regarding the following info. But as soon as there is any confirmation, I will update accordingly. So, make sure to check in!
Version 4.4
From Genshin’s drip marketing, we already know that we will get 2 new confirmed characters in the 4.4 version. These are Cloud Retainer or Xianyun and Gaming.
As it was lantern rite, my initial guess was to see Xiao, Ganyu, and Shenha along with Cloud Retainer. But according to the rumors, only Xiao will be making his appearance in this Lantern rite, and we will instead get Nahida as the rerun character.
The first phase will start with Xianyun & Nahida, and the second phase will start with Xiao and Yae Miko.
Version 4.5
There is a high possibility that we might start seeing triple banners from this patch of Genshin, as there will be a lot of characters and their reruns that they will have to cover.
But if we are getting double banners as usual, then we will see Chiyori in this patch. Along with her, Albedo will feature in phase 1. I am guessing Albedo as he suits perfectly with Chiyori as they are both Geo, and it has been quite a long time since we have seen him in action.
As for the phase 2 banners, Lyney is bound to make his reappearance because new region characters start to get their rerun around .5 versions. Shenhe or Wriothesley will be the second banner, as he was run back in 4.1, and Shenhe hadn’t made her appearance in almost a year and more.
Version 4.6
In 4.6, we will see Furina along with Neuvillette, as they are the perfect pair for each other. Archons get their rerun after 3 patches. But the main attraction of this patch will arguably be Arlecchino. She is most likely to be placed in the 2nd phase. Wanderer will be the other Fatui making an appearance.
Version 4.7
Clorinde & Sigewinne is going to be the featured 5 stars in this version. Their rerun partners can be Ganyu, Itto or Shenhe.
Version 4.8
This version seems to be a rerun-only version.We will be seeing Navia, Kazuha, Klee, Eula, and Kokomi as possible banner characters.
