Are you planning to save your primos for the upcoming characters in version 4.7 & 4.8 in Genshin Impact? Then keep reading!

With Version 4.6 just around the corner we already know Genshin Impact is bringing Arlecchino as the latest 5-star along with DPSs like Lyney, and Wanderer. But what about the characters in the upcoming versions 4.7 & 4.8?

That’s what I am going to discuss in this article. Keep in mind all the info gathered here is from leakers and speculations from the community. Hoyoverse hasn’t provided any confirmation regarding the following info.

Therefore, take everything with a grain of salt.

Upcoming Character Banners in Version 4.7

1st Half: Clorinde & Furina

Clorinde Coming in 4 .7
Clorinde Coming in 4 .7

The first half of 4.7 is rumored to have Clorinde as the latest 5-star character entering the mix.

She’s said to be an Electro main DPS with unique dodge mechanics and invincibility frames. We can also expect her to use her gun as it’s already been showcased in her past animations. The 4 star character Sethos will also accompany in either the first half or the second half.

Accompanying the strongest duelist of Fontaine is none other than the former Hydro Archon Furina. She’s arguably the strongest support you can get in the game so save your pulls if you need her!

2nd Half: Sigewinne & Wriothesley

Upcoming 4.7 Banners: Sigewinne & Wriothesley

As for the second half, Sigewinne & Wriothesley will take the stage. Sigewinne was introduced in the version 4.1 story quest and is rumored to be a hydro bow-wielding character.

Many leakers claimed her to be a healer as it is her profession in the Fortress of Meropide. But the latest rumors suggest she will be a sub-dps/support healer with the bond of life mechanic. This might be a hint that she’ll synergize perfectly with Arlecchino. But only time will tell.

Wriothesley got his first banner with Nuevillette so it’s high time he gets his rerun banner as all the other Fontaine characters already got their rerun. It also makes sense that he will get a rerun with Sigewinne. He is her boss after all.

Chronicle Wish Banner

Upcoming chronicle wish banner in 4.7
chronicle wish banner in 4.7

We won’t be getting any expansion or archon quest continuation in 4.7 making it a filler version which is the ideal time for Chronicle Wish Banner to Return.

I believe Liyue characters will fill the slots. We are likely to see popular characters like Hu Tao, Yelan, Ganyu, and Tartaglia and their signature weapons in the banner. Shenhe won’t be getting a rerun here as she hasn’t been featured in three banners yet.

Upcoming Character Banners in Version 4.8

There won’t be any new characters coming out in version 4.8. This means it will be packed with rerun characters. Navia is definitely will be featured in the first or second half (likely in the first half). Along with her Shenhe seems to be the best choice as she won’t have her rerun for 12 versions now.

Other rerun characters may include Nilou, Alhaitham, and Kokomi. There is also a possibility of Klee getting her rerun banner as usually the .8 banners are when her mom seems to send her on a vacation with the traveler.

There aren’t any possible rumors about the chronicle banners, but Hoyoverse can always surprise us. That’s all for now, again note that all of these are rumors, leaks, and speculations. Best of luck with your pulls!

Love and adventure go hand in hand in Dragon’s Dogma 2. This guide will discuss all romance options in the game.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 offers you epic quests, magnificent adventures, and some sprinkle of romance here and there. Capcom went all out with the storytelling, and the sudden encounter factors are quite impressive.

They have also mixed in romance quite well as there are certain quests and puzzles that actually require you to bring romantic interests to play (eg. the Sphinx Puzzles).

That’s why advancing your romantic journey is a good choice in Dragon’s Dogma 2. So, if you want to get started on your romantic journey, then I will discuss all romance options Dragon’s Dogma 2.

All Romanceable Characters in Dragon’s Dogma 2

Currently, there are two possible romance options in the game, and both are female NPCs. There might be male romanceable NPCs in future updates. Currently, players are able to romance the following NPCs:

  1. Wilhelmina
  2. Ulrika

How to Romance Wilhelmina

Romance Option Wilhelmina
Romance Option Wilhelmina

You will encounter Wilhelmina in Vernworth, around the Rose Chateau Borderlie. To start romancing her, you will need to initial the side quest: Every Rose Has Its Thorns. Keep in mind that the quest can only be triggered once you have finished the main story quest Feast of Deception.

How to Romance Ulrika

Romance Option Ulrika
Romance Option Ulrika

While there aren’t any canon relationships in Dragon’s Dogma 2, personally I prefer Ulrika as the main romantic interest in the game. Furthermore, not only does she have more character depth, but she is also involved in not one but three side quests before reaching a positive romantic conclusion.

You will find Ulrika in the Harve village. She is part of the Readvent of Calamity side quest, which will unlock the Trouble of the Cape quest. After finishing the quest, you will be able to build your relationship with Ulrika. If things are going well (you are giving the right gifts), then she will send you gifts which can be found in your house in Vernworth.

But to successfully romance Ulrika, you must complete the Home is Where the Hearth Is quest and reach max relationship stats.

Want to obtain all the possible rewards from the Sphinx riddles? Then this guide will help you to answer them.

One of the many exciting side quests and puzzles you can encounter in Dragon’s Dogma 2 is the Sphinx’s riddles. There are a total of 10 riddles that you will have to answer, which will unlock the achievement: Full Marks and also complete the quest: A Game of Wits along with the reward Eternal Wakestone which is quite rare to find.

But completing this puzzle and the quest is more difficult than it seems, as you will only get one shot. Get the Riddle wrong, and you won’t get all the rewards, as the Sphinx will attack you (just like in the myth).

Therefore, if you want to solve all Sphinx riddles in Dragon’s Dogma 2, then you need to answer them correctly. So, let’s get started!

How to Find the Sphinx

It is quite obvious that you won’t trigger the puzzle if you don’t find the Sphinx first. But she isn’t that far away from your starting town. She’s actually placed in two locations. She moves to the second one once you have completed the first five riddles.

First Location

First Location of the Sphinx
First Location of the Sphinx

At the northeast point of the Checkpoint Rest Town, you will find the Ancient Battleground. There is a half-destroyed fortress there. At the apex of the Mountain Shrine, you will see the Sphinx, which is located on the hilltop.

Second Location

Second Location of the Sphinx
Second Location of the Sphinx

When you’ve successfully answered the first five riddles, the Sphinx will say that it’s leaving for another location, and you will have to find her again to play. This new location is in the Frontier Shrine. You can find this location by following the river flowing to the west side of the Checkpoint Rest Town.

Tip: An easy trick that you can do is to hop into the back of the Sphinx when it is preparing to take flight after your conversation. This way, the Sphinx itself will take you to the 2nd location.

Here is everything you need to do to answer the riddles of the Sphinx:

Riddle 1: The Riddle of Eyes

“Our eyes are our allies, yet oft they betray, for eyes tell lies, so I advise, and thence do lead astray. Yet how will your eyes advise you? Venture through yonder door, and retrieve that which is of greatest value.”

Solution: Here, the Sphinx is asking you to bring the most valuable item to the nearest cave. There is a door that will open for you to access. Upon entering the designated door, immediately turn around and locate a chest above the entrance door. Inside, you’ll find the “Sealing Phial,” the most valuable item in the area. Present this item to the Sphinx.

Reward: Wakestone

Riddle 2: The Riddle of Madness

“Love is as twin to madness, they say. They are bound fast, as night is to day. So bring forth your most beloved to me, that I might gauge the depth of your insanity.”

Solution: Bring a character with whom you’ve reached max relationship status, such as Ulrika, to the Sphinx. Place them on the platform to respond to the riddle.

Reward: Portcrystal

Riddle 3: The Riddle of Wisdom

“The parent knows the child, yet the reverse is far from true. The child knows not the parent: such is the parent’s due. I am a lost child; for kinship do I yearn. So bring to me my ‘Parent’, that I might better learn.”

Solution: Recruit the Capcom-made pawn called “SphinxFather” found inside Riftstones. Place him on the platform in front of the Sphinx.

Reward: 1200 RC (Rift Currency)

Riddle 4: The Sphinx’s Riddle of Conviction

“Life is an enigma – a lender of mortal debt. Yet a lighter pack makes fleeter foot and challenge nimbly met. So grant to me what you most prize, and thence elude your ponderous demise.”

Solution: Present any item to the Sphinx. It will reward you with a duplicate of the item you presented. Therefore, make sure to give it something expensive.

Reward: Duplicates the item you give

Riddle 5: The Riddle of Rumination

“It’s ever the first we keep fond in our breast, and ever the first that eclipses the rest. You know of the Seeker’s Tokens, I trust? Those keepsakes of a fondly remembered journey? Yet where was it that you found your first? Retrace your steps, if you can – you might make a new discovery. Seven days, shall we say, ere you return? May your journey be a pleasant one.”

Solution: Return to the location where you found your first Seeker Token in this playthrough. Retrieve the unique item called a Finder’s Token from that spot and bring it back to the Sphinx.

Tip: It is better to screenshot where you got your first token.

Reward: 3 x Ferrystones

Riddle 6: The Riddle of Reunion

This Riddle is automatically solved upon finding the Sphinx in its second location. The chest on the left will be unlocked upon finding it.

Reward: 100,000 G

Riddle 7: The Riddle of Recollection

“Now, questions beget questions, and I have one for you. How many riddles have you solved thus far? My memory fails me, you see. Remind me, and make it plain. Let yonder statues be your means. For every Riddle aptly answered, bring one here before me.”

Solution: Pick up stone statues to correctly represent the number of riddles you’ve solved and place them in front of the Sphinx. So, if you are following from the start, then you will need to put 6 statues in front of the Sphinx, not seven (people mess that up a lot).

Reward: Unmaking Arrow

Riddle 8: The Riddle of Contest

“Though ours is a battle of wits, tests of mettle are more to your strength. Is that not so? Come, try your arm – though he shall be your opponent, not I. However, I am not one to be amused by a simple duel. Bear this ring into battle, that I might gauge your true strength.”

Solution: Defeat the enemy that spawns to the right of the Sphinx in battle (push it off the cliff).

Reward: Ring of Ambition

Riddle 9: The Sphinx’s Riddle of Futility

“How easily the mind unravels! Some say it’s pain that does it best, others darkness – but I say neither. Rather, I say a mind cannot be more soundly broken than when it beholds its earnest efforts laid low in a single stroke. Could you survive such despair? We shall see. Here I have an amphora destined for Ser Maurits in Battahl. Deliver it to him, but beware; it’s rather fragile.”

Solution: Carry the vase given by the Sphinx to Ser Maurits in Battahl without breaking it.

Reward: Eternal Bond (Ring)

Riddle 10: The Riddle of Differentiation

“So vast is the world, and full of life; you are but one of many. Indeed, in the grand scheme, we are as distinct from one another as pebbles on a beach – yet we do so love to extol our differences. But are these differences so great? If you believe so, this next task should prove exceedingly simple. I seek this man. If men are so distinct, I’m sure you’ll find him in a trice.”

Solution: Here, the Sphinx will find you one of the twins Dante and Vergil (a fun nod to DMC). They are discriminated against because of their scars and hair. Dante has straight hair, and Vergil is curly. So, make sure to take a screenshot or remember the details. Identify and bring back the NPC shown by the Sphinx. Compare the provided image with Dante or Vergil and retrieve the correct character.

Dante is found in Checkpoint Rest Town, and Vergil is found in Bakbattahl.

Reward: Whimsical Daydream

Kill the Sphinx

Once you have obtained all the 10 battle rewards, you can just attack the Sphinx and kill it to get the final reward which is the Eternal Wakestone.

Want to know how long it will take for you to beat Dragon’s Dogma 2? Then this guide may help you!

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is the latest entry in the Dragon Dogma series by Capcom. With extremely detailed story quests and sudden encounters, this game is set to provide a completely new adventure RPG experience for the players.

Read More: The Ultimate Dragon’s Dogma 2 Character Creation Guide

A key part of the game is the storyline and how long it can take to complete all of them. If you are a casual player, then you might need more time, but if you are into completionism, how long it will take for you to beat Dragon’s Dogma may differ.

While it may be difficult to predict the exact time, upon my initial playthrough and others’ review, we can conclude that there is some standard completion time. So, how long does it take to beat Dragon’s Dogma 2? Let’s find out!

Dragon’s Dogma 2 Completion Time

Dragon’s Dogma 2 Completion Time
Credit: Capcom

In a casual playthrough, it might take you around 32 to 34 hours to finish the game. Keep in mind that a casual playthrough is when you follow the main story along with some side quests.

If you just focus on the main story, then it can take from 28 hours to 30 hours, based on your skills and encounters in the game. On the other hand, if you are doing all the main and side stories, then it can take about 33 to 34 hours.

Lastly, if you are a completionist hunting for all the trophies and achievements, then it can take you over 35 hours to finish the game.

Remember that there are sudden encounters in the game that are entirely irrelevant to the main or side story. And they can take up a good chunk of time in your playthrough. This can heavily affect how long it takes you to beat the game.

The character creation module in Dragon’s Dogma 2 is said to be revolutionary. Follow this guide to learn how to make the most out of it!

After the initial release of Dragon’s Dogma back in 2012, fans of the game have been eagerly waiting for a sequel. With the standard being high from the first game, Capcom needed to set something in motion that would get the attention of players, both new and old, to the franchise. Their answer seems to be in the character creation menu.

The character creation feature in Dragon’s Dogma 2 is just out of the world. It is more detailed than any other titles that offer similar mechanics and is actually a determining factor in your overall gaming experience.

So, if you want to create the best possible Dragon’s Dogma 2 Arisen and main pawn for your journey, then continue reading, as I will break down everything in the Dragon’s Dogma 2 Character Creation menu.

Character Creation Menu in Dragon’s Dogma 2

The first thing that you will have to decide when using the character creation menu is who you are building. You will have two options:

  • Arisen
  • Main Pawn

Arisen will be you, the main character of the story, and unlike other adventure + strategy games, Dragon’s Dogma 2 uses pawns (NPC AIs); a total of 3 of them can be recruited in your party, each with different characteristics and skills. But your main pawn will be from your own design and creation. The main pawn creation should complement your Arisen creation, which I will touch on later.

When you pick your choice (Arisen or Main Pawn) you will be taken to the character creation screen, where you can select from the preset or create your own. There are 14 preset characters for you to choose from. If you pick preset, then there is nothing to worry as you can change the details to fit your preference.

If you go for a completely new character, then you will have to start by selecting your race and gender. Currently, there are two races: Human & Beastern. Therefore, you will get to pick from 4 avatars.

Afterwards, you will proceed to pick a base body from 9 different body types. These aren’t permanent, and you can change the details later.

Next, you will have to select the base head. Here, you will have the option to choose from 45 different head styles. Then, you will be presented with 9 different options on that head preset and another 5 afterwards. These are primarily for jaw styles and skin color, which you can update later. To be precise, the only thing that you can’t change is your race.

Once you are done, you will be presented with the detailed version of the character creation menu, and you will start working on your character from the ground up.

There are 5 base categories with sub-sections and enhancements in the character creation menu:

  1. Body
  2. Head
  3. Body Hair
  4. Makeup
  5. Tattoos/Markings

Body

The most crucial part of the character creation that heavily affects your gameplay is the settings you pick for the body. Here, you will be working with 5 sections:

  1. Body
  2. Head
  3. Upper Body
  4. Lower Body
  5. Posture

Body

In the Body section, you will be able to decide the height and most of the weight of your character. Depending on your build, going higher or lower will be the best option.

Generally, higher height indicates how fast you will be moving, and how long your character’s melee reach is and also has an effect on your encumbrance.

On the other hand, a lower height ensures that your hitbox is low for the enemies, meaning you will get hit less.

Weight affects your stamina consumption, and its overall regeneration rate. High weight will also increase your carrying capabilities. You will also be able to wear heavier armor with more defense than a heavyweight.

Select Your Vocation & Vocal

Character Creation Menu in Dragon’s Dogma 2
Credits: Capcom

There are 4 starting vocations in the game:

  1. Melee
  2. Archer
  3. Mage
  4. Thief

You will unlock more as you progress, but these are key factors that determine your playstyle throughout the game.

Melee is best for close combat, while Archer is suited for long rage. Mage builds are preferred for long-range to mid-range combat. Thief is best for fast and sneak-based style. You can also pick up 2 different types of vocals for your characters as well.

How to Customize Your Arisen and Main Pawn

Your customization will revolve around the vocation you are going with. For Melee, my personal recommendation would be to go with high height and weight. This will allow you to hit harder and dawn the strongest armors.

The main pawn should go with either a Mage or Archer for longer-range supports. They should be of standard height and lightweight. However, for the mage, high weight is necessary at times as magic requires stamina.

On the other hand, if you are playing Thief, then it is better to be lightweight and short to avoid combat. But your pawn will have to be heavy enough to carry your items without being encumbered.

The Mage or Archer build will be similar to the main pawn for Melee. But this time, high height is necessary. This way, you will be set to have the perfect combo at your early levels.

And there you have it. That’s all the details you need to know to understand character creation in Dragon’s Dogma 2. Best of luck with your journey!
