Stickers in Counter-Strike 2 just got a massive update.

Valve was silent for a suspicious amount of time after their last update. Counter-Strike 2 had been released in a sort of testing phase, as major updates only seemed to be fixing gameplay issues instead of adding features. So, when Valve finally dropped their first biggest update, there was reason to celebrate. The ability to customize your weapons freely with stickers in Counter-Strike 2 is something we didn’t know we needed.

However, as with everything these days, there seems to be some issue regarding this, especially if you are an AMD GPU user. While Valve is finally adding new features and old forgotten modes, it is still disappointing to see such errors in-game.

Moving Stickers in Counter-Strike 2

The latest update, “A Call to Arms,” introduced a completely new customization feature. Stickers have been in the game since skins themselves came out back in the Arms Deal update. The latest feature allows a player to apply anywhere they please on the weapon. Previously, there were only 4 or 5 set places to apply the sticker. Now, there is complete freedom, with all weapons having 5 slots.

However, a significant portion of the community is unable to access this feature. Comments on Reddit have pointed out that AMD GPUs are still unable to access this. To solve this, you will need to launch the game with the Vulcum API.

Adjust your game just like the best players using all the essential console commands in Counter-Strike 2

Valve’s flagship FPS game has gotten its sequel. Counter-Strike 2 is the final evolution of the long-standing Counter-Strike series. As the game matured, the individual parts of the game got more and more standardized. What was once a mod has fully turned into one of the most popular standalone games. One of the most defining as well as a bit frustrating features of the game is the use of the console.

Console commands in Counter-Strike 2 still exist, but they have been significantly toned down compared to previous iterations. This is Valve trying to modernize the game, removing the need to access the console for important gameplay features. Even then, there are some console commands that you should always keep in mind.

What Console Commands are Important for Counter-Strike 2?

Currently, there aren’t that many commands in CS2 that you won’t find in the game settings. Most of the settings are either obsolete, an intended setting, or just plain removed. Even then, there are some that you might need.

Console CommandDescription
fps_max Sets FPS limit. A value of 0 will uncap it.
bind [action] [key]Binds any command to a key.
sv_cheats true/falseTurns on cheats in private servers.
sv_infinite_ammo <0-2>Configures Infinite ammo to be off, on, or just magazine reload.
noclipAllows you to traverse the map as a ghost.
cl_drawhud <0/1>Toggles the in-game HUD on or off.
cq_netgraph 1Displays latency data on-screen.
cl_showfps 4Shows more in-depth FPS information.
sv_rethrow_last_grenadeRethrows the last grenade that was thrown.
sv_grenade_trajectory [0/1]Thrown grenades show their trajectory.

bot_addAdds bots to the server.
volume <0-1>Adjusts the game’s master volume from 0 (muted) to 1 (max).
voice_modenable <0/1>Toggles voice chat on or off.
Some essential Console Commands

Valve intentionally removed a lot of the commands that people used. The most popular are cl_bob and cl_righthand. The vision is to streamline everything necessary in the native settings menu to make the game user-friendly. The community actively appreciates the change. Still, some of the removed commands were only client-sided. Therefore, the players felt they only added personalization to their game, and it wasn’t a gameplay feature that new players would struggle with. Nevertheless, Valve has the final say on what goes into the game.

Having a clean and informative HUD can impact gameplay more than you think. Here, you can find the most optimal CS2 HUD settings!

HUDs are very underrated in the sense that players don’t always fully appreciate their existence. In most games, they exist to give you information that doesn’t really matter as much as you get more experienced. However, in competitive titles, it’s a crucial tool that gamers try and exploit to get the best result.

In Counter-Strike, the HUD always gives useful information to the player. Coming into Counter-Strike 2, Valve has moved to standardize the HUD, making most of the elements permanent and non-changeable. This has reduced the opportunities to exploit the feature, but some optimal settings still exist.

What is the HUD?

A HUD, which stands for heads-up display, is an overlay on the screen in a video game that displays important information to the player without them having to take their eyes off the action. This information can include health bars, ammunition, radars, items, etc.

The HUD is Counter-Strike, which is crucial as the Radar is your friend in most cases. The slow and methodical pacing of the game forces you to rely on information. A slight mistake by your opponent can be punished if you know which side of the map is safe. Moreover, it reduces the burden of communicating everything between players, letting them focus on their gunfights.

How to Customize Your CS2 HUD Settings

To adjust your CS2 HUD settings, you will need to access the settings from the in-game menu. The best way to test out your settings is by joining a practice map and then accessing the HUD settings to adjust what you want from the game.

To access this, click the gear icon on the left of the home screen. Then go to the “Game” tab from the top and scroll down, or hit “Hud” from the top.

HUD Scale

This setting will adjust the size of the HUD elements like the ammo counter, HP bar, etc. Adjust this to be larger if you have a high-resolution monitor or you’re finding it difficult to read the HUD info at a quick glance.

HUD Scale 1.1
HUD Scale 1.1
HUD Scale 0.9

Radar HUD Size

The HUD size determines how large the radar would be relative to the screen. It’s very self-explanatory. A larger number will increase the size of the radar, while a smaller one will shrink it. Therefore, you should adjust it according to how much real estate you are willing to give up for the Radar.

Radar HUD Size 0.8
Radar HUD Size 0.8
Radar HUD Size 1.2
Radar size 1.4

The slider ranges from 1.4 to 0.8. So, you have some decent room to play with.

Radar Map Zoom

This is actually a very important setting for any player. The zoom determines how much of the map is shown on the radar. This is crucial for getting information from the map. The more info you can digest, the larger your map size should be. The slider ranges from 0.4 to 1.0 with the lower end being more zoomed out.

HUD Color

With Counter-Strike 2, the HUD color is way more varied than in CS:GO. Just like before, your HUD elements will be your preferred color. This includes the new additions at the bottom of the screen as well as the buy menu at the start of every round.

CS2 HUD Color Orange

Large Player Count

This setting adjusts the mini-scoreboard style that you see at the top of the HUD. In Global Offensive, there were more options to edit this feature. However, in CS2, there is only the option to turn it off and on.

  • Yes: During the round, the avatars of both teams will be replaced with a large number that shows how many players are alive during the round.

  • No: The avatars of all the players on both teams will be shown and greyed out as they are eliminated in-game.

How much can a skin be worth in Counter-Strike 2? Here are the most expensive skins you will find in CS2 right now.

Counter-Strike is a franchise with a long history. Counter-Strike 2 is the latest entry in the series, replacing the immensely popular CS:GO. Apart from the intense competitive aspect, Counter-Strike provides the alluring charm of weapon skins for players to seek after. CS2 carries over every skin its predecessor offered with improvised presentations.

Skins in Counter-Strike 2 are cosmetics for weapons. It was first introduced back in 2013, with the Arms Deal update. Since then VALVE kept adding skins as drop items with various weapon cases and collections. Players can acquire these items through timed item drops in-game or can buy directly via Steam market or trading via third-party websites.

Prices of CS2 skins can vary by a considerable margin. Some skins are affordable for a dime, whereas some can cost a fortune. Gradually, collecting skins has become beyond a hobby for CS2 players, and as a result, the market kept growing. In this article, we will take a look into how expensive CS2 skins can be nowadays.

Why Counter-Strike Skins are So Expensive?

The cost of a CS2 skin depends on several factors. There is no ultimate price tag for a skin. A skin can be worth as much as buyers want to pay. However, the price tag of skin is generally based on its rarity, float value, investment value, market condition, and hype of the game.

When skin becomes extremely rare, its cost may skyrocket. Usually, this is the case for discontinued skins. As they are hard to find, players consider them collectibles. ”Souvenir” skins are also another example. Souvenir skins are drops found in souvenir packages only during special Counter-Strike events sponsored by VALVE.

Apart from these, skins of extremely rare patterns and variations may also be tagged for an extravagant cost.

10 Most Expensive Skins in CS2

Now that you know CS2 skins can be so expensive, you may wonder how these skins may look. Here, we will list the most expensive skins that you will need to spend a fortune to buy. However, we will not be considering the super rare collector items. For example, the #1 Ak-47 Case Hardened Blue Gem was sold for $400,000 USD. However, that doesn’t mean every Case Hardened Ak-47 skin is valued that much. So, only the highest-valued variations for the regularly available skins will be listed here.

So, without any further ado, here are the most expensive available skins in CS2 right now. To make the list somewhat dramatic, we’ve listed the skins in the least expensive to most expensive order.

It is nearly impossible to find one. Even the float value of these gloves skins doesn’t go below 0.06. So the closer it gets the most costly it becomes.

1. Souvenir AWP Dragon Lore

Souvenir AWP Dragon Lore

TitleDescription
Price400,000$+
Available inThe Cobblestone Collection
WearFactory New

AWP Dragon Lore is the most expensive AWP skins in CS2. Even the normal variations of this skin can cost a fortune. But when it is a Souvenir one it can cost even more. The Souvenir versions are treated like collectibles as they are dropped exclusively to commemorate a particular e-sports match. These skins features golden stickers of related teams and events. What makes it more desirable is the scarcity. There are only 114 of these in existence and there can’t be any new in recent future as Cobblestone has been removed from the map pool. Adding all of these facts make Souvenir AWP Dragon Lore in Factory New condition the most expensive regular CS2 skins you can find.

Bonus Skins

Apart from the regular weapon and gloves skins, there are more buyable items in CS2. Like the stickers or skins with exceptionally rare patterns or crafts. These items are priced so high that they deserve to be mentioned in this list.

Katowice 2014 Holo Stickers

Katowice 2014 Holo Strickers
Credit-Valve

EMS Katowice 2014 was the second major in CS:GO history and the first one to feature purchabale stickers. Now after nine years, some of these stickers are worth more than a supercar! For example- The Titan (Holo) Katowice 2014 sticker is worth almost 80,000 USD, whereas iBUYPOWER (Holo) Katowice 2014 sticker is worth 70,000 USD. Even the normal stickers are priced more than 500 USD.

The main reason behind this is the shortage of these stickers in the market. There are very few Katowice 2014 stickers. Some of them are measured not in hundreds but in dozens. Not many players used to play Counter-Strike back in 2014. Moreover, many players bought stickers, applied them to their guns, and that was it. This resulted into less number of available stickers.Overtime the value of these stickers increased and now are considered as a memorial of Counter-Strike’s ultimate growth.

Blue Gem Skins

Blue Gem Skins
Credit-Valve

Blue Gem is a rare pattern for Case Hardened skins with the maximum amount of blue on them. hese skins are considered very rare and super valuable among traders and players. There are many Case Hardened skins in the game. The most popular is probably the AK-47 Case Hardened. There are a total of ninety thousand of this skin in existence. Among them 123 is of pattern 661, and only 9 of them are of Factory New wear. This is an extreme rare skin to find and if you do so you should be ready to spend a lot of money. However, this is not the most expensive Blue Gem skin pattern!

The Karambit Case Hardened (Factory New) with exact pattern 387 was sold for $100,000 back in 2016. This chance of finding this exact pattern is 1 in 371 Million. The owner has later refused an offer of 1.5 Million USD for this knife. This makes this exact knife currently the most expensive CS2 skins of any kind.

Rare Patterns

Rare Patterns
Credit-Valve

Patterns refer to color combinations of skins. In CS2 same two skins can be different of its pattern index. Every skin contains up to 999 pattern variations. Some of these patterns are extremely rare to find, which makes a skin’s value to rise. For example, the Doppler knife skin’s prices depends on their pattern index. These skins are mainly created with color mixture of Sapphire, Ruby and Emerald. The abundance of each color decides its pattern index. The more purity of only one color makes the skin more rare to find and hence more costly.

Rare Crafts

Rare Crafts
credit-Valve

You can craft your already iconic skin with rare stickers and increase its value. For example, The AWP Dragon Lore (Factory New) is already worth more than 10000 USD. Now if you combine some Katowice 2014 Holo Strickers with the same skin, this will easily be registered as a collectible item. So the price of skin will be much higher than usual.

Final Verdict

The prices of CS2 skins can go as much as someone is willing to pay. So there is no limit of how far this list can go. As the game gets older, more and more skins are adding to this list. What these numbers will reach in future can only be determined by time.So far this is the current most expensive CS2 skin’s list you can find.

In the right hand, the AWP is the most deadly weapon in Counter-Strike 2. Here is a list of the best-looking AWP skins you can find in CS2.

The Arctic Warfare Police or AWP is a bolt-action sniper rifle featured in Counter-Strike 2. This iconic rifle is the only weapon that is capable of killing an opponent with one single shot on the upper body. As a result, AWP plays a significant role in controlling a game’s overall outcome. However, the high damage output is balanced by the AWP’s low rate of fire and significantly higher cost to buy in-game.

The AWP was a version intended for use by law enforcement as opposed to the military. It was it was previously known as the Magnum Sniper Rifle. It has the highest kill potential in CS2 if you can manage the cost of $4750. Therefore, it is considered a “high risk, high reward” weapon.

Like every other weapon in the game, CS2 also offers a vast pool of AWP skins featuring different color schemes or patterns. So, it can be confusing for you to choose the right AWP skin. Therefore, in this article, we will be listing the ten best AWP skins currently available in CS2.

Are you wondering which M4A4 skin will suit the best for your CS2 inventory? Here is a list of our best M4A4 skin picks in CS2.

The M4A4 is one of the used rifles for the CT side in Counter-Strike 2. While its counterpart, M4A1-S, offers precision, M4A4 is your best bet while spraying against multiple enemies. Previously, players needed to choose to equip a single rifle based on their play style. However, the new weapon loadout system in CS2 now allows you to equip both rifles simultaneously.

The M4A4 is based on the Mk-18 Mod 0 carbine rifle. While in CS2, it replaces the Maverick M4A1 Carbine. It has the upper hand with higher magazine capacity and fire rate compared to its silenced alternative, M4A1-S. Although the T-side counterpart Ak-47 does more damage, with less spreading recoil pattern, the M4A4 wins in accuracy margin.

CS2, the new title of the series, carries over all the weapon skins from its predecessor. However, some skins look different due to the updated lighting and rendering effect of source 2. So, finding a perfect wearable for your M4A4 in CS2 can often be confusing. Therefore, here we will list our best M4A4 skins in CS2 right now.

Although all these incidents might make Howl one of the most discussed skins, it is not the only reason the skin is popular. The artwork and color pallet used are also intriguing enough for people to collect it. The whole skin boasts a color scheme of red and black, with the fiery head of a howling wolf being the centerpiece.

Starting at only 20$ to become one of the most expensive CS2 skins to date, Howl has made its own place. However, it is impossible to find a new Howl skin anymore. For those who already own this masterpiece, this has been an ornamental piece for their inventory.

Playing as a counter-terrorist, Famas is your best option in semi-buy rounds. Here is a list of the best-looking FAMAS skins in Counter-Strike 2.

In Counter-Strike, the economy plays a vital role in winning a match. Therefore, the game offers weapons for every economic situation. You may want to go with your best rifle and the utilities whenever you have a proper buy. For less money, you may go with SMGs or even a pistol like the Desert Eagle. But in both the CT-s and T-s, an exclusive rifle exists between these situations. For the Counter-Terrorist side, it is called Famas.

The Famas is a Counter-Terrorist exclusive rifle in CS2. It is a bullpup assault rifle that MAS designed and produced in France. The in-game version is modeled initially after the Famas G1. This weapon can fire in two modes: fully automatic or 3-round burst. The firing mode can be switched using the secondary fire button, just like Glock-18.

Compared to standard rifles, the Famas has a low damage output. On the other hand, it also costs less. This makes the gun a perfect alternative to the M4A4 or M4A1-S whenever you are short on money and prefer to buy full utilities.

The Famas might be less sought-after than other rifles. However, this doesn’t mean it has fewer skins to offer than any other weapon in CS2. If you want to replace your default Famas skin with a colorful one, this article can help you.

It has an image of a world map engraved on the body. A list of 14 maps from CS2 and CS:GO is also written on the stock. Additionally, there is a soldier-encircled counterterrorism symbol above the magazine. For an avid Famas user, commemoration can symbolize your royalty.

Final Verdict

Counter-Strike 2 has a huge selection of Famas skins. Naturally, it is impossible to include all of them in our top ten list. However, that shouldn’t stop you from choosing your own weapon skin despite its rarity, price, and look.

In any case, our top ten Famas skin list will set a general benchmark and give you a basic idea of what skin to go after, allowing you to choose something that suits your tastes.

Because Valve consistently adds new skins to the game, we will update our list as new skins are added.
