Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth also keeps the turn-based combat introduced in the last game and polishes it in every way possible. The battle system involves dynamic movement, where you need to utilize movement and positioning to get the most out of every encounter, area of effect attacks, maneuvers you can use to wipe out several enemies at once, and a whole lot more.

The turn-based combat system in Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth allows you to build your party with up to 10 members. But in order to get the most out of each of the members, you need to put effort into strengthening the bonds you have with them. So if you wanna know how exactly you can do that then you came to the right place.

How To Increase Bond Level in Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth

Fortunately, you can go about increasing your bonds with your party members in a lot of different ways. Basically, spending time with your members increases the bond level. However, let’s get into the specifics of what you exactly need to do.

Party Chats, Walk and Talks, Combo Meal Conversations

Party chats appear as green speech bubbles on your map, but only if you have the required party members in your party. They are a little hard to track down, so you’ll have to just rely on noticing them pop up from time to time. However, they offer a nice boost to the bond level of your entire party.

Walk and Talks are conversations between the party leader and a member. But each session is associated with a Bond Bingo card, where you basically have to guess what the person who is with you likes. Guessing right will provide you with a massive boost to the bond level.

Lastly, specific group conversations take place when you order a certain Combo Meal in restaurants. The game does help you out by showing a little speech bubble beside a meal to indicate that it will initiate a group conversation, so keep an eye out. Again, you need to have the necessary party members in order for it to trigger.

Taking Part in Hobbies with Friends

Another surefire way to increase your bond level with someone is to take part in some activities with your desired member. For example, you can challenge someone to a game of darts or sing karaoke with them. Also, how much you’ll increase your bond will depend upon your performance, so give it your all!

Giving Plenty of Gifts

Gifts are a bit trickier as they require you to know what the recipient likes. Therefore, try your best to match them to a character’s interest. Keep in mind that you won’t get punished too heavily for getting it wrong, so don’t be afraid to try a lot of gifts out!
