With the conclusion of week 2 of the LEC 2024 winter split, here’s the result and a quick breakdown.

LEC 2024 is the first proper tournament of the year, and the Winter split is the first split of the second year of the newly merged EMEA’s rebranded professional League of Legends league.

The League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) is a major League of Legends tournament that happens primarily between EMEA-based teams. The top teams in these events can compete in the MSI or Worlds, depending on the time frame.

Another reason why LEC 2024 is a very special tournament is because we will see the new season 14 map and items in action. To recap, Riot completely overhauled Summoner’s Rift in Patch 14.1. Additionally, they have also reworked many of the core items in the game. This is the first tournament that is being held after the new changes and additions.
