If you don’t know what the GSL format means, there will be 4 randomly selected teams within 4 groups. 2 sets of opening matches will be held within the groups. Are you interested in finding out what percentage of players you belong to in VALORANT’s rank distribution? Then you’re in the right place.

VALORANT has different game modes, such as Deathmatch, Spike Rush, Unrated, and Competitive. Additionally, there are three rotating game modes: Escalation, Replication, and Snowball Fight, which change with every patch. Among these, Competitive, or Ranked is the most popular game mode in VALORANT.

What is VALORANT Rank?

As mentioned earlier, there’s a competitive game mode in VALORANT. This game mode is also referred to as Ranked. Players are given specific ranks based on skills and Rank Ratings in this competitive mode.

The point of having a competitive or Ranked mode is to play against similarly skilled opponents so you can enjoy the thrilling and nail-biting experience of the matches. If you are new to this game, you must play 10 Unrated matches to unlock competitive mode and get a specific rank.

There are 9 tiers of ranks in VALORANT. These tiers also have 3 sub-tiers, except for Radiant. Radiant is a special rank category representing the best of the best. Only the top 500 from each Region can reach Radiants.

Previously, there were 22 ranks in VALORANT. However, Riot Games also added a new tier called Ascendant in Episode 5 Act 1. So, in addition to Ascendant, there are currently a total of 25 ranks in VALORANT.

VALORANT Rank Distribution

Riot Games released API for VALORANT starting in 2020. Esports Tale and Tracker.gg uses this API to provide official rank data based on the whole player base. So, the rank distribution data shown below is accurate. Additionally, this rank distribution considers combined players from all regions.

Note: We updated the article on August 1, 2024.

When Will Rank Reset?

VALORANT resets everyone’s ranks with every new Act. When a new Episode begins, all players need to play 5 placement matches to be placed, with Ascendant 1 being the highest initial placement. To receive your rank in Act 2 or 3, you’ll need to play 1 placement match.

After placement, your Act rank will rise and fall with your wins and losses. Nonetheless, as millions of players grind VALORANT ranks daily, the rank distribution keeps changing. Currently, Episode 9 Act 1 is ongoing. The next rank reset will happen when Episode 9 Act 2 begins on August 27, 2024.

This year’s VALORANT Champions 2024 bundle will include a Phantom skin alongside the popular Sovereign 2.0-style Sword melee.

Champions 2024 is VALORANT’s 4th major Esports event, to be held in Seoul, South Korea. Similar to previous years, Riot Games will release a bunch of physical goodies, free in-game skins, and a purchasable bundle to celebrate the event. These goodies and cosmetic items are usually popular among the community as they remind players of the beautiful memories that the entire event creates.

Among all the goodies and cosmetic items, the Champions bundles are the most sought-after reward players look forward to. These bundles usually contain a weapon skin and a melee skin. The 2021 bundle included a Vandal and melee, the 2022 bundle included a Phantom and melee, and the 2023 bundle, again, included a Vandal and melee. So, the predicted pattern did come true as the 2024 bundle will contain a Phantom skin alongside a melee.

The RGX 3.0 is coming as the next skin bundle in VALORANT!

In the VALORANT community, everyone is excited about the new leaks regarding the next skin bundle. We will have the highly anticipated RGX 3.0 skin bundle. While Riot Games hasn’t given any official confirmation, multiple sources in the VALORANT leak community are certain that RGX 3.0 is coming. This cyberpunk-inspired collection should be the next skin bundle in VALORANT.

What We Know So Far

According to a recent leak, the RGX 3.0 bundle is expected to include:

  • An Outlaw skin
  • A Karambit melee weapon
  • Additional weapon skins (yet to be specified)

These rumors gained significant traction when renowned VALORANT leak source @ValorantUpdate shared cryptic information about the bundle on July 15, 2024. While the full contents of the bundle remain shrouded in mystery, the inclusion of the Outlaw – VALORANT’s newest sniper rifle – has piqued the interest of many players.

Continuing the RGX Legacy

The RGX 11x Pro Collection became a fan favorite since its initial release in 2021. We saw the first original RGX in Episode 3 and RGX 2.0 in Episode 4. If the leaks prove true, RGX 3.0 will be the third generation in the RGX line.

What to Expect

While details are uncertain, players can likely anticipate:

  • Upgradeable skins using Radianite Points
  • Multiple color variants
  • Unique visual and audio effects
  • Potential bundle accessories like gun buddies, player cards, and sprays

Price and Release Date

As an Exclusive tier bundle, Riot Games is expected to price RGX 3.0 similarly to its predecessors. They priced the previous RGX 2.0 bundle at 8,700 VALORANT Points (approximately $90 USD), with individual skins costing around 2,175 VP each.

According to the leaks, we may see the RGX 3.0 bundle hit the in-game store as soon as the next patch. This patch is scheduled for July 15th, 2024. However, it’s important to note that this information remains unconfirmed by Riot Games. So, take it with a grain of salt.

Thanks to the leakers, all Episode 9 Act 1 Battle Pass skins are now available to the public.

A new Act, as usual, brings a new Battle Pass. As we’ve always known, VALORANT releases a brand new premium Battle Pass every Act, along with a whole lot of new skins and cosmetic items.

The Battle Pass is only 1000 VP. However, when compared to Riot Games’ usual skin bundles, the skins and cosmetic items you receive are far more worthwhile.

But what kind of Battle Pass will the next one be? Act 1 of Episode 9 premieres on June 26, 2024. So, no one can be certain about its official theme. However, thanks to the leakers, you can take an early look at all the skins coming to the game.

Like every Act, Episode 9 Act 1 Battle Pass also features three different skin collections. The collections are as follows:

  • Bubble Pop
  • Convergence
  • Bumble Brigade

Bubble Pop Collection

The weapons you see below belong to one of the three skin collections called Bubble Pop from Episode 9 Act 1 Battle Pass. The Bubble Pop collection includes a Baseball Bat, Classic, Guardian, Judge, and Vandal.

The mixture of white, pink, and purple gives the skin a cute aesthetic look. If you like the VALORANT GO! series skins, then the Bubble Pop skin collection might be something you find interesting.

Convergence

I don’t know about you guys, but the collection looked a lot similar to the Ion collection for some reason. It’s basically the Ion collection for people who didn’t get the chance to buy the original one. Puns aside, the Convergence Collection includes Frenzy, Marshal, Phantom, and Stinger.

Bumble Brigade Collection

Another orange skin collection is added to the game with the Bumble Brigade collection. I’m not sure if I’m too excited about the collection, as it doesn’t provide anything new. However, if you like vibrant color schemes or are looking to fill your orange weapons, you may like the Bumble Brigade collection.

A new set of pink skins is being added to VALORANT with the Star Guardian-themed Evori Dreamwings bundle.

With Mystbloom collection, VALORANT started a trend of adding pink skins to the game. The developers later confirmed that they’ll add more like this in the future. The skin collection received huge appreciation from the community and was one of the most popular collections in the game. So, Riot Games took the opportunity to introduce another one without waiting too long.

The new pink skin collection is more special than the previous one because it is based on League of Legends’ famous Star Guardian skin line. If you’re not familiar with the Star Guardian theme, you may find the skins a lot similar to those of the Sailor Moon or Power Ranger characters.

Evori Dreamwings Bundle

Evori Dreamwings Bundle

VALORANT’s upcoming Evori Dreamwings bundle has 4 weapon skins: Vandal, Odin, Spectre, and Ghost, as well as a Melee named Spellcaster.

The main attraction of the skins is the vibrant pearlescent aesthetic with a touch of cute Star Guardian characters that are, in VALORANT, called Dreamwing friends. Although Riot Games didn’t integrate the Star Guardian characters directly into the skins, the resemblance is obvious and made in a way so that fans can notice.

Available Weapons

  • Vandal
  • Odin
  • Spectre
  • Ghost
  • Spellcaster Melee

Evori Dreamwings Variants

The Evori Dreamwings skins will have 4 color variants, representing the 4 characters in the skin line. These variants include:

  • Purple [Cat]
  • Green [Bunny]
  • Orange [Mouse]
  • Pink [Bear]

Other Accessories

The Evori Dreamwings bundle will also include Playercards, Gunbuddies, and Sprays.

Evori Dreamwings Playercards
Evori Dreamwings Buddy [Pink]

Bundle Price

The Evori Dreamwings is an ultra-edition bundle. So, expect to pay 9900 VP for the entire bundle. If you want to purchase individual skins, you have to pay 2475 VP for each skin. For the Spellcaster Melee, however, you have to pay 4950 VP. The playercard, Gunbuddy and Spray cost 375 VP, 475 VP, and and 325 VP, respectively.

Evori Dreamwings Release Date

The Evori Dreamwings bundle will be released on June 26, 2024, alongside the Episode 9 Act I update.

The Episode 9 Act 1 Premier changes of VALORANT revolve around the new “Invite” division.

Premier is VALORANT‘s official competitive mode, where you need a pre-made team to compete. Riot Games introduced the Premier Beta in August 2022. Since then, the Premier mode has gone through several tweaks and adjustments to make it even more flawless.

Now, with Episode 9 Act 1, Premier is in a new stage. Just like before, you can enroll with your team of up to 7 members and participate in a division decided by the top 5 players’ MMR. However, the new Premier also differs from the previous versions in a few ways.

What’s New in Premier E9A1?

Episode 9 Act 1 Premier

There have been some additional tweaks to Premier with the Episode 9 Act 1 update. These changes include:

  • Invite Division: Invite Division is a new tier within the Contender Division. However, the Invite Division will determine what teams will have the opportunity to make it into a Challengers League. At the end of the stage, a limited number of Contender Division teams will be promoted to the Invite Division. The number of invited teams will vary in each region.
    • Winners of previous act playoff tournament and Top 32 will be placed in the Invite division.
  • Contender or Invite Roster Restriction: A player must be Contender eligible before a Contender or Invite Division team can add them into the team. Below are some more points for teams and player eligibility for the Contender Division in Premier:
    • Play a weekly match in Contender or Invite.
    • Play a playoff match in Elite 5.
    • Play a Competitive match when ranked as Immortal 3 or higher.
  • Contender and Invite Weekly Matches: Contender and Invite Divisions play both of their weekly matches on Saturday night. All North American teams in Contender and Invite play their matches at the same time. When the Act starts, you’ll see the exact times in-client for your division.
  • Contender and Invite Playoffs: The top teams in Contender and Invite divisions qualify for playoffs. The playoff finals will be played in best of 3 formats.

The path to pro status is now easier to see than before with the arrival of the Invite Division. However, it has not made the competition any easier. In order to advance to the Challengers League, all teams must go through to the very end. Nevertheless, we are wishing good luck to every team competing in the Episode 9 Act 1 Premier launching on June 25, 2024.

VALORANT Episode 8 Act 3 is coming to an end soon. The new Act will go live on June 26, 2024, at around 2 AM PT.

Episode 8 Act 3 has been a pretty good chapter for VALORANT, considering it introduced a new map and a huge ton of balance changes for the Agents. However, the Act is drawing to an end, and with it, Episode 8 concludes its chapter.

There is no news of Episode 9 Act 1 receiving any significant balance changes. But that doesn’t mean that there won’t be any big changes coming to the game during the later part of the Act. As Riot Games is known for its meta-shifting tactics, we will definitely see some significant modifications to the game in the middle of the Act.

So, with all the anticipation regarding the new Act, when is it actually coming? Well, VALORANT Episode 9 Act 1 will go live on June 26, 2024, around 2:00 PM PT. Naturally, not everyone lives in the same region. So, to make your life easier, we’ll list the approximate release time across major time zones:

  • United States – PT – 2:00 PM
  • United Kingdom – BST – 10:00 PM
  • CEST – 11:00 PM
  • UTC – 9:00 PM
  • Japan – JST – 6:00 AM [June 27]
  • India – IST – 2:30 AM [June 27]
  • Singapore – GMT +8 – 5:00 AM [June 27]

The servers may go under maintenance a few hours before the new Act starts. So, if you haven’t completed your E8A3 Battle Pass, now may be the right time to grind.
