Players need to pull certain characters from the limited-time character banners to add to their roster. However, since this is a gacha game, sometimes players will not get the characters they sometimes want.
In Genshin Impact, when a limited-time character banner drops and players summon the character, there is a chance that they might get other five-star characters from the Standard banner. In addition, there are a lot of five-star characters in Genshin Impact, and new players will struggle to summon the character they like.

Upcoming Characters in Version 4.5 Update
Hoyoverse announced that Chiori is the newest 5-star character who will be coming to the version 4.5 update in Genshin Impact. She owns the ”Chioriya Boutique” in Fontaine and hails from Inazuma.
The new leaks suggest that popular characters like Kaedehara Kazuha and Arataki Itto from Inazuma will have rerun banners in the upcoming update. In addition, the popular character from Fontaine, Neuvillette, will also have a rerun in the version 4.5 update after his introduction in version 4.1.
Third Character Banner Coming To Genshin Impact?
Prolific leakers HXG, GenshinMeow, and UncleX have all confirmed that a third limited-time character banner will debut in the version 4.5 update in Genshin Impact. There is a possibility that Hoyoverse is planning to introduce Albedo as the third banner in the upcoming update.
On the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit, user APerson567i posted the possible lineup for the characters featured in the version 4.5 update: Chiori, Arataki Itto, Kazuha, and Neuvillette.

Albedo is one of the oldest characters to have a rerun banner in recent updates. The new leaks suggest that he will have his rerun banner in version 4.5, as his previous banner appeared in the version 3.1 update. However, it is not confirmed if Albedo is the character to be featured as the third banner. Other characters from Mondstadt, such as Klee, Eula, and Venti, could also be introduced, as these characters rarely get their rerun banners.
While a third banner may come to the game, it is unclear how Hoyoverse will implement the concept. Some leakers suggest that Hoyo will implement something similar to the Epitomized Path, which already exists on the weapon banner. With the Epitomized Path, players can choose the 5-star weapon they want and continue summoning on the banner.
